I ordered the Spectre Cold Air Intake for my 99 Expedition and i am very pleased with my purchase, really makes the 4.6 breathe like it should! looks great sounds great & was easy to install. I highly recommend ditching your stock power robbing intake & filter set-up & upgrade to this wonderful product...you won't be sorry.

Installation was a pain in the butt. It fit only after some bending of metal and not installing the washers because the screws were to short. My mpg is up and it sounds okay. Overall I'm not sure if I would get another spectre product.

First off, you should have some knowledge of whats under your hood and experience with basic auto mechanics. The included instructions had 25 steps, with photos, from removing the stock air intake to assembly and installation of the Spectre Air Intake. However, Spectre could have had a bit more detail in their instructions though. One tip, take some time to clean your throttle body assembly once you remove the stock one. It looks good under the hood.

the Spectre Cold air Intake is a Good Value for the price. It is a great look under the hood with the polished chrome tube. My 1st trip with it I pulled a trailer for 350 miles and my mileage went down 2MPG from my normal. I can't wait to see what it does when I drive my truck normal W/O a load behind it. Sounds Great too...

Just installed the Spectre Cold Air Intake. Not much to it, just a tube with connectors. Installation was pretty straight forward. I especially liked the clean lines with minimal couplings and minimal twist to the airflow. The grommet supplied for the Intake air temperature sensor did not fit snugly onto the aluminum tube. A call to Spectre quickly resolved the issue as they are sending another grommet. Performance was immediately noticeable. MPG savings has not been evaluated.
