I'd been looking at this Spacer for some time now and had been chomping at the bit to get it. Due to the economy on my side, I was finally able to purchase one. The only thing I did to it that was not in the instructions was: 1. Cut/Open the Circle Area around the Throttle Body side of the spacers Gasket, it overlapped the port by 1/4 inch. I thought it might decrease the performance by air restriction. All I can says is that it works for me! It has no turbo sound, maybe a little in high rpm in 3rd gear. But I have increased my fuel efficiency by this addition. It works. 1989 F-150 300-I6 EFI,5 Speed, MSD Coil, MSD 6A Ignition, single in-out Flowmaster(Soon to be Dualed Super44 Flowmaster)240,000 Miles and can run 47 miles on 1/16 of a tank w/13 gal rear tank!

Right now I'm trying to get the most out of my straight six motor without adding any extra fuel to the equation. This helped throttle response and gave a little addition to the gas mileage, but not quite what I had expected. But for the price and ease of installation, I think it was worth it. And I didn't get the whistling sound that I hear people talk about with these.
