The unit was properly packed. It had all of the necessary pieces and the instructions were very clear and easily understood. The installation was simple. I did have to drill an additional hole, due to one hole on the original air box not lining up with the new shroud mounting holes. Overall I am very satisfied.

This intake is awesome! Installed in a hour with basic tools. It looks awesome and sounds even better! Bit of a gain in top end. You lose a little down low in the rpm range but it really helps the engine breath. I'd recommend to everyone!

Took a while to remove the Mass Air Sensor from the OEM intake tube; mine had a plastic "keeper." Also, radiator hose mount of stock intake tube had to be pried up with a screwdriver. Otherwise, the install wasn't bad. Get a 5/8-inch drill bit from Tractor Supply for $10, or so, to drill the hole in the air box mounting plate. I'm getting more torque with this CAI and the sound IS BOSS when I get on it. Not quite like my 1971 Mach I Mustang's Big Daddy Thrush glass packs, but close.

install was easy sounds great under hood not sure as fuel savings but noticed a big difference in throttle response I also ordered a cat back exhaust system which I didn't install yet but when I do it should open up truck more love the fact it's a dry filter too makes a lot easier to maintain verses oil filter lil pricey but worth it

This product is made of high quality materials. Sounds awesome and the price point is right on. It took about 45 min to install. The hardest part was following the directions. The directions need to be more clarified in writing and better pictures. The Horse Power increase does not really show from the start but once at higher speeds it certainly kicks in.

Works great my engine can breath now, a noticeable difference in power and throttle response. Only thing is the instructions, vague and a little unclear. Overall a great product would recommend. Although FedEx delivered it to the wrong house twice, should change shipping company.

I installed it in my 2012 Silverado. It took me about two hours with just your basic garage tools. I did watch the k&n video on you tube and made it really easy. You can really here the engine taking in air when your on the throttle. And it look amazing under the hood.

The system itself fits very well and the appearance looks like it belongs under the hood. I gave 4 stars verses 5 on Overall Rating and Ease of Installation not due to the unit but the vague instructions. Each step does have a picture but simply stating perform that operation without detailing hardware etc does have its drawbacks. I referred to the exploded view to determine correct locations.
