Volant Cold Air Intakes Reviews

Delivered performance as advertised

Reviewed By Frederick W (Littleton, NC) Reviewed for a 2002 GMC Safari —5/4/2012 6:41 PM

The cold air intake kit wasn't too hard to install. My van has more power in the mid and upper RPM range and picked up about 1 MPG.

Improved Throttle Response

Reviewed By floyd H (CLARKSVILLE, TN) Reviewed for a 2013 GMC Sierra —6/28/2018 5:58 AM

I installed this at 38,000 miles on my 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 with the 5.3 Liter. I can't say the fuel mileage is better in town, seems to be little or no change but on the highway, I am getting approximately 1 to 1.5 MPG more. I can say with 100% certainty that the Throttle response has improved. I can only attribute this to the increase of air flow into the combustion chamber.

Great addition!

Reviewed By TONY D (WEST RICHLAND, WA) Reviewed for a 2002 Chevy Silverado —8/1/2018 4:05 AM

I originally installed the Aem #21-8014DP and decided to add a additional #21-2059DK to rotate air filters. The new style is better looking and seems better constructed with mesh around it all. The only thing is it is just a hair longer than original and took some adjusting to get it on but, it is a snug fit now. Looks Great!
