"The installation was fair. Took a while but the end result is worth it. When I turned the key the sound of the Volant came to life. I can't stop passing people cause my Titan sounds like a beast. No exhaust yet and can't wAit. I would really reconmend this intake. Its AWESOME!!" —Juan O from Orland , CA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 Nissan Titan, 5.6L V8.
"I Love it. The Engine Breaths a lot better. Lost a little mid range power. But Gained Power in the 4-5,500 rpm range. Put exaust on and Got the Mid Range Power Back." —Shelby C from Selah, WA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 Nissan Titan, 5.6L V8.
"Just got the kit for my 2005 Nissan Titan and I am sorry for waiting so long. It took me about an hour to install and could feel the increased horsepower immediately. The rumble of the engine is definitely meaner but not to loud to be distracting. Have not checked on the gas savings yet because I can't keep my foot off the gas with my now burning desire to hear and feel my new found power. Highly recommend the kit." —Glenn C from Acworth, GA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2005 Nissan Titan.
"I was pleased with the installation of the Volant Air Intake system. The only issue I found is that the description of the bolts listed were not what they were, but that was not that much of an issue." —Steven B from Avon, IN bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 Nissan Titan, 5.6L V8.
"delivery was nice and quick. instructions were bland but i found a good forum and saw how another guy did it. after seeing that it took about a half hour from start to finish. sounds absolutely amazing, totally kicked my passing power up, just added ram air with it. sounds good, looks killer and made me love my truck even more. kick ass product." —Mike B from San Diego, CA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 Nissan Titan.
"I love the bruteforce intake. you can hear it when you hit the gas, it makes a whirling niose. it was def. worth the money." —Chris M from Salisbury, MD bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2005 Nissan Titan.
"not only does the aem brute force with dryflow filter make about 15 more horsepower for your engine, but it also increased my gas mileage an average of 1-2 mpg. it's easy to install, has great instructions with a real pic of each step for whatever model it is going to be installed on...not just a general picture, but model-specific..... my titan's only other mods are a flowmaster super 40 muffler and now it spins all the way to 40mph...what a difference
the filter is also much easier to clean than a k&n type and you don't have to worry about burning oxygen sensors or mass air flow sensors because it doesn't need oil. that was a problem with a k&n system i had on my previous chevy silverado....kept burning oxygen sensors, no matter how long i let the filter dry before installing it after cleaning...awesome" —Waylon H from Verden, OK bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2005 Nissan Titan.
"I read the reviews on this CAI and was a little skeptical about what they said. But this intake added more Horsepower and i read i was loud but anywhere between 2600 rpms to 3400 rpms the intake screams! as far as mpg its hard to say because i seem to keep the pedal to the floor just to hear the intake and flowmaster." —Jacob B from Valrico, FL bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 Nissan Titan, 5.6L V8.
"Nice power but still looking for the improved gas mileage. Sounds good. The third bolt on the stock air filter box is a pain to remove and is not mentioned in the instructions. (Requires the removal of the washer fluid reservoir)" —Gregory A from Huntsville, AL bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2005 Nissan Titan.
"Love the intake. quiet until you push the gas.easy to install but doesn't tell you what to do with hose located at bottom of old intake. gas has inproved 1 to 2 mpg" —Jason L from Madisonville, LA bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2005 Nissan Titan.
"Increased throttle response. Better gas mileage. Roughly 3mpg better on highway. 20mpg on interstate driving. City driving not measured yet. Easy installation. Could use a little better instruction. Engine noise considerable under load but good trade for performance. Helped with towing." —David C. L from Dublin, GA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2005 Nissan Titan.
