Great Intake for the Xterra!

Reviewed By Justin Z (BELLE CHASSE, LA) Reviewed for a 2007 Nissan Xterra —1/9/2018 8:51 PM

The quality was very good, The installation was a pain. It was not hard, but there are a lot of bolts and brackets. It went from 15 MPG to 17 MPG with slightly more spirited driving on the 17. I noticed the acceleration is more responsive. That is a win-win in my book!

I'm not sure about it since I've been in 4wd off and on for a month now. I still hope for gas mileage improvement but am happy I can get through most weather! Love my Xterra

Solid upgrade to stock airbox

Reviewed By Cynthia R (JERSEY CITY, NJ) Reviewed for a 2001 Honda Accord —10/18/2018 5:15 AM

My stock intake pipe was literally falling apart and held together by tape. Finally pulled the trigger and picked this up and it has been fantastic. Puttering around town it isn't loud but put your foot down and you'll see the difference. The car feels faster but could also be the increased noise influencing my perception of speed. Somewhat easy install. The older your car and less maintained the engine bay is the harder it may be as things may be rusty and stuck. About 45min install.
