When Airaid Filter Company’s David Edelman spoke with AutoAnything’s Elly Brown at the 2011 SEMA Show, they covered a lot of ground. We learned that Airaid’s rich aftermarket performance history began way back in 1997. It was in 2002 that Airaid began developing proprietary air filters in-house and really began attracting the attention of the automotive performance world. We also found out that Airaid’s air intakes have been featured on the AutoAnything website for several years. Further, whenever the horsepower honchos over in the Airaid speed shop drop a new application on the world of automotive performance, AutoAnything is always one of the first sites to have it available.
David touched on some exciting new additions to Airaid’s cold air intakes lineup and some of the existing products that have received a recent overhaul. He told Elly about some of their new releases for muscle cars, jeeps, trucks and other vehicles. Here are a couple of the products he mentioned during this interview: new intakes for the 2011 5.0 Liter F-150 , and a kit for the 3.5 liter EcoBoost. David also covered Airaid’s revamped kits for the Nissan Titan and Toyota Tacoma, given each of them the full MXP treatment. What’s more, Airaid will be rolling out some sweet, new kits in 2012. You can expect a lean and mean carbon fiber kit for the Ford Mustang Boss 302 as well as one for the Chevy Camaro SS with the Magnuson supercharger.
