Not sure which 2005 Chevy Colorado Air Intake Systems are right for you? We have over 20796 customer reviews, with an average rating of 4.5, to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Here's what some of our customers have said:

"I not only added this K&N, but a throttle body spacer and exhaust system on my truck. Altogether i have gained about 3 mpg give or take. My truck runs lower rpm's over hills and mountains. Unlike others i do notice a throttle response, not no hotrod response, but a response. I also always had problems with the check engine light and opening my truck up and letting it breathe more, that light went off immediately. It's a little cost now, but i think its well worth it. My truck has 190,000 miles on it all highway, but my family has owned the truck since day one and it runs better now than it did then." —Mitchell W from Strasburg, VA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

"Its great helps my MPG an surprised me on the power increase. Great product" —Josh W from Greensburg, KY bought an Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer for a 2005 Chevy Colorado, 3.5L 5 cyl. engine.

"Pretty easy to install. One nut was missing, but I had one in my nuts and bolts cemetary. Performance is hard to judge, as I'd already put a Magnalflow catback on and had my PCM tuned. It may pull aittle harder in the middle RPM's. MPG took a few tanks, but I'm in the 18's during normal weekly driving. That's up from upper 16's-17's after recalibrating for my two sizes up AT tires. So, it seems the intake got me back to factory MPG. The really noticeable thing is the sound. HOLY COW! Get on it just a little more than normal and you hear a huge difference-deep, throaty note. Floor it you'd think I'd had an engine swap-loud as heck! This is a pro and a con. I've had some sports cars mistake this for a challenge." —Jayne H from Wichita, KS bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

"I'm very hapy with my purchase, really easy to install great instructions will recomend to anyone with the same truck." —Robert L from Gilroy, CA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

"This thing sounds awesome on my colorado!! It ROARS at WOT! It gives me a little better milage and I run lower RPM at crusing speed. I can feel better acceleration too so I know it gives a HP increase (how much I dont know). When you get on the gas, people know your colorado has something special under the hood for sure! Sound reminds me of a deep growl you hear on much bigger V8s. I installed with a buddy in about 30min. you may have to hold a radiator hose back to wedge the box into the stock location. Make sure you get it over the stud! If you over tighten stud, the cover may not lign up as well with the bolt holes. the vacumn line included was too short so i bought some at the local store for $1. I am gonna call volant to see if they will hook me up b/c their hose is premium grade silicone. Better than the others cause the filter wont get wet/muddy/dirty when you are offroading cause of the sealed box design. Good engineering overall. Better midrange torque. email ?'s to train22@ureach.com" —Christopher C from Cumming, GA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

"Easy to install with basic tools - maybe 15-20 minutes. No noticable change in performance or noise, but it's my wife's truck and I seldom drive it. I do monitor gas mileage closely and it's up 1-2 mpg on a very consistent mix of commuting driving." —Benjamin B from Northville, MI bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

"purchased with airaid t.b.s. install was easy with exception of the rubber piece that makes the seal around the air box. Gaps in the alum. surround on top of the aftermarket airbox are larger than expected, not sure what effect if any it has on perf. Cabin noise is little louder, but kinda cool, power increase is obvious(you just feel it, you know). M.P.G.'s are up from 305mi city to 328mi city on my last tank. Overall it is worth the $ to me. And i have already reccomended similar product to my friend @ 4300ft in Utah who drives a Yaris, at that alt. he even gets 41m.p.g city now. many thanks, again." —Robert B from Anderson, SC bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

"Like product results and performance, but installing was a bit difficult on my 2005 Colorado" —George V from San Dimas, CA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 Chevy Colorado, 3.5L 5-cyl. engine.

"A simple 20 min. instalation made a vary noticable improvement. I could feel the power increase from a stop sign, to passing on the highway. There is no need to stomp on the gas to feel it either, just drive normal and enjoy." —James R from Camillus, NY bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.

"i am really happy with the purchase and it was worth the money. i felt the difference in horsepower though i added an airraid poweraid throttle body spacer as well. not only did my fuel economy go up but my exaust is almost twice as loud in higher rpms. i recommened adding these easy bolt ons to you vehicle." —Cooper Z from Edmonton, AB bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2005 Chevy Colorado.
