"Easy to install took about 1/2 hour to install. It is a little tight with the intake i have but works fine. has a little whistle at low rpms" —Alexander C from Chicopee, MA bought a Taylor Cable Helix Power Tower Throttle Body Spacer for a 2004 Chevy Silverado, 5.3L V8.
"I have only had the unit on my pickup for a few days but I have noticed an increase in throttle response and a little more push from the rear. Don't know how it has affected my gas milage yet." —Matthew U from Bison, KS bought a Jet Power-Flow Mass Air Sensor for a 2004 Chevy Silverado, 5.3L V8, 8th digit of VIN = T.
"Added the cold air intake from Volant 2 years ago and loved the added low end torque and response on the throttle. I have the SS front bumper and really wanted to see if this would add a little more to the intake. Install was not hard at all. I unbolted the cold air box and pulled it out so I could aline all the parts easier before tighting the clamps. It seemed to add a little more performance, but the sound it makes as the engine sucks in air is AWESOME! Not like a supercharger sound, but really cool none the less. Over all, the price is a little high, quality of the item is very good, directions are only a cad drawn photo of how it attach's to the cold air box. I would buy it again if I had to, just wish they could come down a little in price." —Christopher B from Lansing, IL bought a Volant Ram Air Scoop for a 2004 Chevy Silverado, SS, 6.0L V8.
"My truck looks and feels fast it goes great with my chip and exhaust heck it took more time to get the old intake off than it did to install the new one its got my vote" —Jason T from Hanlontown, IA bought a Banks Ram-Air Intake for a 2004 Chevy Silverado.
"TOOK ABOUT 20 MINS. TO INSTALL w/ NO PROBLEMS. LIKE THE FACT THAT THE FILTER IS A "DRY" FILTER.....NO OIL EVER NEEDED. HAVE JBA HEADERS, FLOWMASTER EXHAUST & HIGH-FLOW AIR SENSOR, SO MY SET-UP IS NOW COMPLETE. SOUNDS GREAT!" —David R. C from Carrizo Springs, TX bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2004 Chevy Silverado.
"Very good instructions made it easy to install. Looks mean sitting in my truck and wakes it up nicely when you step on it. Look out gramma crossing the street!!!" —Zach P from Schenectady, NY bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2004 Chevy Silverado, SS, 6.0L V8.
"Install took 35 min. Very easy. At 2500 RPM the new sound begins. At 3000 RPM, my truck sounds wicked! The increased HP is noticable right away. If I accidentally give it too much gas at a low speed, it will snap my head back. Passing power, anywhere from 45-70 MPH when you stomp on it, it acts like a V8 is supposed to act! I got +9HP with my set-up, but the power increase is in a great range & it really woke up my 5.3 Z-71. VERY happy with my purchase!" —Charles T from Ridgeland, MS bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Chevy Silverado, 1500, light-duty, 5.3L V8.
