"I found the filter element installation tricky. The instructions made it look easier than it was. No matter how hard I pushed getting the filter element onto the housing, I never heard the snap in sound that is mentioned in the instructions." —Fred D from Port Jefferson Station, NY bought a Banks Ram-Air Intake for a 2012 Chevy Silverado.

"As stated in other reviews, it does whistle a bit but its low enough to keep you satisfied. I personally like to hear it. Turn radio on and its gone. Too bad it only came in red, other colors would be awesome......Installation was simple, i couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. It works as intended. Now go buy urself one today!!!!!!!!!!" —Norman G from Sheridan, AR bought an Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer for a 2012 Chevy Silverado, 1500, 5.3L V8.

"Scoop was delivered quickly as promised. The installation instructions we pretty general and not per the specific vehicle. It was relatively simple to figure out tho. It will require the removal of the plastic air dam under the front bumper, but looks way better without....Overall, very satisfied with the product!!" —Matthew P from Richboro, PA bought a Volant Ram Air Scoop for a 2012 Chevy Silverado, 1500, 6.2L V8.

"I just finished installing my K & N 77 system on my 2012 Silverado. The installation took about one and a half hours. The sound difference is unbelievable. It's quiet until you want it to roar and then it puts on a show!" —Ronald B from Novi, MI bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2012 Chevy Silverado, 1500, 5.3L V8.

"The Volant has improved pick upspeed , more snap! quicker for passing, fuel mileage plus or minus unknown at this time" —Paul H from Anacortes, WA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2012 Chevy Silverado, 1500, 5.3L V8.

"The kit came in on time, as projected. It was really simple to install, and it included everything needed for the kit to work with my vehicle. I love the way it looks, sounds, and performs. Great bang for the buck, and I can now hear the engine breath. I have already seen improvement in my fuel economy and performance." —Justin M from Collierville, TN bought a Spectre Cold Air Intake for a 2012 Chevy Silverado, 1500, 5.3L V8.

"I really have'nt noticed an increase in fuel economy yet but my truck is new and I don't even have 1000 miles on the engine yet. Once I start moving my daughter out of town I am sure I will notice an increase in gas milage. U washappy with the install except for the rubber connectors slideing off of the metal units I was connecting to. The plastic does warm up but it is an under hood unit." —Richard K from Caledonia, NY bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2012 Chevy Silverado, 2500HD, 6.0L V8.

"Arrived on time! I couldn't wait to get the air charger installed. It took a little time to sort and get pieces into place. Just follow the supplied instructions step by step and you will have no problems. The good news is I went from an overall mpg of 16.3 to 18.6 mpg! Throttle response is smooth but the best part that made the project worth it was the sound, for that reason alone it's worth it! If your thinking about this product just do it!" —Jason O from Marietta, OH bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2012 Chevy Silverado.

Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer

Nice product

Easy to install if it came with all the pieces. Everything came except the fiber gasket. Contacted airaid and they are supposed to be sending me one. View more reviews...

aFe Magnum Force Cold Air Intake

Good product

Installed in 2012 Silverado with cat back dual exhaust. Before the install you could tell the truck wasn't getting much air. After install it really woke it up. The difference from the engine and exhaust sound is very noticeable. Definitely felt better throttle response. I'm only getting 11.8mpg before install. I'm sure it won't raise it much with lift and tires. But will say any cold air intake is a payoff. My Spectre in my old truck got better gas. So I'm sure this will too. I would recommend. K&N 71 Series Blackhawk Air Intake System

Blackhawk is Amazing!

I installed it in my 2012 Silverado. It took me about two hours with just your basic garage tools. I did watch the k&n video on you tube and made it really easy. You can really here the engine taking in air when your on the throttle. And it look amazing under the hood. View more reviews...
