1998 Ford Expedition Air Intake Systems

The quickest and most popular way to squeeze every last opportunity for power in your car or truck has to do with air consumption. The air intake system was designed from the factory to provide just enough airflow while reducing engine noise and clutter. Unfortunately, most of these designs are not designed to let the most airflow through to your engine. Think of trying to exercise while taking short small breaths, compared to taking big deep breaths. The difference is pivotal. Let that engine breathe freely with one of our cold air intake kits. Check out our Car Air Intake Systems Buying Guide.
Not sure which 1998 Ford Expedition Air Intake Systems are right for you? We have over 20796 customer reviews, with an average rating of 4.5, to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Here's what some of our customers have said:

"Easy install it only took about 45 minutes. Definite increase in power and great sound. I don't know about the gas mileage yet but the kit looks great." —Joseph M F from Hillsborough, NJ bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 1998 Ford Expedition.

"I have a 98 Ford Exedition with 9" of lift and 37" tires. I have done several things to it to include the Fram Boost Cool Air Intake, Edge Performance Chip, Flowmaster Exhaust, and much more... When I put the Airaid throttle body spacer on I really noticed a difference in the mid-range power and yes I have noticed an increase in mileage. And with 37" tires any increase in mileage is great!!! The sound the whistle makes isn't as loud or as annoying as I thought it was going to be. I kinda wish it was a little louder whistle. But awesome product. Highly recommended!!!" —Joshua W from Albuquerque, NM bought an Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer for a 1998 Ford Expedition.

"35 Horsepower and 1.7 MPG Later I can now tow my trailer up steep inclines and maintain 55 MPH rather than bogging down to 30MPH thanks Airaid, I will reccomend you to everyone." —Stephanie F from Chandler, AZ bought an Airaid Intake System for a 1998 Ford Expedition.

"This product is an absolute must for any person wanting more performance and efficiency from their vehicle. In my opinion, you can't beat the performance this intake adds for the relatively cheap cost. The installation is fool-proof and just about anyone with a few basic tools can do it. The engine feels so much smoother and healthier with the added air flow. Definitely worth the money!" —Randall J S from Peoria, IL bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 1998 Ford Expedition.

"I ustalled the fipk at the same time as the powr-flo. i notice a significant horsepower difference, also in the way my 98 expedition 5.4 idles. I doubt it was the intake that made the idle so smooth.I'd say it was the m.a.f.s. i have not had a chance to notice improved feul mileage yet. no regrets here" —Mike M from Rancho Cordova, CA bought a Jet Power-Flow Mass Air Sensor for a 1998 Ford Expedition.
