"The engine sound nice it has a quicker pick up but I haven't seen a MPG increase. Over all it's a great system." —Joseph J from Jeanerette, LA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2003 Ford Expedition, 4.6L V8.

"The spacer was simple to install. the instructions could provide a simple drawing for the very inexperienced. It does not whistle as I drive (I read this from another review). I have not noticed a significant amount of power. The on board computer averages fuel consumption while on the freeway cursing at 1999 RPM's in overdrive the average went from 17 MPG to 19 MPG, ( it could have been great tail wind). I have only had it installed a week now and have driven 300 miles.. So far it seems to be a good product. John" —John P from Galt, CA bought a Jet Power-Flow TBI Spacer for a 2003 Ford Expedition, 5.4L V8, 8th digit of VIN = L.

"I bought the spectre air intake for my wifes 03 expedition just before a long road trip towing our toyhauler..I could really tell the difference in the low end power, the truck normaly get 12.5 mpg in town and before i got the intake towing it got between 9 and 10 mpg..I got 11 towing 8000lbs up and down some pretty good grades, so im happy....But for some reason the electronic read out says that it now gets 10.4 in town, maybe it just needs to recalibrate..." —Joseph G from Valley Center, CA bought a Spectre Cold Air Intake for a 2003 Ford Expedition, 5.4L V8.

K&N 77 INTAKE KIT-03 Ford Expedition

Installed the intake on my Ford 03 Expedition. The install took about an hour.Clean well thought out air intake system.Seems to have more power, and will clean the air intake better than the stock cleaner for sure.Plus never have to buy another air cleaner element. View more reviews...
