Air Intake Systems

2005 Ford Expedition Air Intake Systems

The quickest and most popular way to squeeze every last opportunity for power in your car or truck has to do with air consumption. The air intake system was designed from the factory to provide just enough airflow while reducing engine noise and clutter. Unfortunately, most of these designs are not designed to let the most airflow through to your engine. Think of trying to exercise while taking short small breaths, compared to taking big deep breaths. The difference is pivotal. Let that engine breathe freely with one of our cold air intake kits. Check out our Car Air Intake Systems Buying Guide.
Not sure which 2005 Ford Expedition Air Intake Systems are right for you? We have over 20796 customer reviews, with an average rating of 4.5, to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Here's what some of our customers have said:

"It is a great product! Fuel mileage on the highway went from 15.7 to 17.3 instantly. Nice throaty sound. Feels like a little more power too!" —Jeff Y from Ponca City, OK bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2005 Ford Expedition, 5.4L V8.

K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit

2005 Expedition, K&N Intake Kit

Recieved the K&N intake kit from AutoAnything. Everything was there and the instructions were clear. There were some differences between the text instruction and my vehicle. There was nothing there that prevented me from completing the install. However, during certain points in the install the instruction became guidelines rather than the law. I was impressed by the overall fit of the kit. Everything matched up well and I was able to complete the install in about an hour. The only thing that slowed me down was the purchase of a drill bit to accomodate the brake booster on my vehicle. I have had the air intake on about a week. I haven't been able to measure the gas mileage, but the performance is noticeable and the sound is great. Next step is to install a Gibson Cat-Back system. I will be measuring the fuel economy after that install. View more reviews...
