"While the K&N parts continue to be 1st class, their instructions leave a lot to be desired. The picures are fuzzy and the written instructions could be more discriptive. Improve the instructions and you have a great product." —Harold J from Placida, FL bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2007 Ford Expedition, 5.4L V8.

Spectre Cold Air Intake

Instructions should be clearer

"Reconnect the PCV fresh air hose to the PCV hose adapter." There's a LOT more to it than that! If you follow the instructions to a "T", you'll essentially have everything connected and ready to be tightened, but still have the PCV hose adapter hanging out on your work bench. This part needs to be fed through the hole in the rubber throttle body (90-degree EPDM coupler) PRIOR to installation, and you must apply pressure to the adapter from inside the elbow in order to re-connect the hose. K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (50-State Legal)

Impressed so far

Finished up installation last week and after a week of driving I can comment on a few things. First off I don't really see much if any fuel mileage improvement. Not really disappointed because I wasn't expecting a miracle pill here. What I do like though is the throttle response the car has now. Much quicker. Also I travel to the Sierra Mtn's regularly and I can really see the difference in climbing hills. Overall happy with it. View more reviews...

07 Expedition

Takes an anemic asthmatic 5.4 and lets it breathe. Sounds fierce. Highly recommended addition. View more reviews...
