Air Intake Systems

1998 Ford Explorer Air Intake Systems

The quickest and most popular way to squeeze every last opportunity for power in your car or truck has to do with air consumption. The air intake system was designed from the factory to provide just enough airflow while reducing engine noise and clutter. Unfortunately, most of these designs are not designed to let the most airflow through to your engine. Think of trying to exercise while taking short small breaths, compared to taking big deep breaths. The difference is pivotal. Let that engine breathe freely with one of our cold air intake kits. Check out our Car Air Intake Systems Buying Guide.

After the kit was installed gas miliage returend back to when we first got the vehicle.I will definetly buy more products from Autoanything. Cheapest price on the area and on the Internet, plus free shipping!" —Andres V from Fort Worth, TX bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 1998 Ford Explorer.

"I think it gives my Explorer a lot more grunt and midrange power. My MAS was bad so it was a no brainer to go with a performance-orientated model over stock. With your holiday special it was even cheaper than stock, got a great deal!" —Bob O from Shelby Township, MI bought a Jet Power-Flow Mass Air Sensor for a 1998 Ford Explorer.

"Recently I purchased aFe Cold Air Intake and a Throttle body Spacer aFe, easy installation, apperance, I felt more power immediately after installed, I think I gained MPG too, but the best part is I got it way lot cheaper that other places, free shipping and courteous customer service, definitely I will be buying again. I was looking forward to the whistling noise people keep talking about, I can not hear any whistling. Good job to the people of Autoanything in keeping prices low." —Waren L from Kissimmee, FL bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 1998 Ford Explorer.

"The installation was not that difficult although I did have to drill a hole for my temp sensor which I was not expecting so it took longer than expected.
