Air Intake Systems

Not sure which 2012 Ford Mustang Air Intake Systems are right for you? We have over 20796 customer reviews, with an average rating of 4.5, to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Here's what some of our customers have said:

"No problems with intake but I was assured it would fit my vehicle and it was actually designed for an auto trans and my car is a manual, therefore there was an extra intake port that I had to cap off. I also didn't think I had a good seal with one of the hoses that connected to another port." —Jeff W from Opp, AL bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2012 Ford Mustang, GT, 5.0L V8.

"The part arrived quickly as promised and appears to be very well built. I installed the 90mm BBK throttlebody on a stock 2012 GT convertible which has a cat-back Borla S-type with x-pipe as the only other mod. Installation took 20 minutes, the toughest part was getting the intake boot back on. A little WD-40 helped that. I did not feel a significant performance gain, the tires seem to break loose a little longer in second than they used to, but that's about it. No check engine lights, no tuning, the car still runs great. In any case, thinking one would "feel" 10hp on a car like this is not a realistic expectation, so I would have to refer to the manufacturer's dyno sheets to prove there is a performance gain. I do believe that this is a critical point in opening up the airway of this beast, so the addition of other less restrictive intake and exhaust components (CAI, headers, etc, even a tune) will help take advantage of the additional airflow this throttlebody allows." —Diane G from North Grafton, MA bought a BBK Power-Plus Throttle Bodies for a 2012 Ford Mustang.

"I bought this Airaid CAI with the intention of adding the computer tune down the road, but as of this review I haven't done so. After about three weeks of having this system, I have noticed increased fuel economy, very little increase in power, but some. Before installing the Airaid CAI my 5.0 V8 was getting 18.2mpg, now it hovers right at 19mpg and has been as high as 22mpg in the city. It was pretty easy to install with basic tools and it took about two hours to install. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow and the system looks great installed in the car. I would recommend this system for someone that wants improved fuel economy, and that will computer tune down the road." —Kent B from Dallas, TX bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2012 Ford Mustang, 5.0L V8.

"It fits up well, has a great sound. Noticed an immediate increase in mileage and pickup. At about 62 to 63mph on the freeway it gets some hard to believe numbers on the mileage readout on flat ground. The 2012 V6 m6 only has about 1850 miles so it's still a little tight yet, should get better as it wears in more. I could have had a V8, but no thanks the six has plenty of power, for my usage! [ and mileage ]" —Larry S from Antioch, TN bought an Injen Power-Flow Cold Air Intake System for a 2012 Ford Mustang, 3.7L V6.

"I recently installed this on my 2012 3.7 v6 mustang and all i can say is wow!!!! Instalation was pretty straight forward it was a little tight as per other reviews so i was prepared only had 2 little issues, 1 was intructions should warn you to block off hole in base when installing mounting screws because if you drop them they go down inside cold air openinging under grill area.....good luck retreiving them....2nd issue was web site does not mention disconecting battery but instructions does and then you have to reset all radio, clock, etc. One last thing was after install taking car for spin and throttle respons has gotten better....but sound at WOT is loud and mean sounding very unexpected but was told normal from manufacture." —Harold L from Lesage, WV bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2012 Ford Mustang, 3.7L V6.

"I new from previously useing K&N COLD AIR INTAKE ON MY 2004 Cobra how good a product this is,but it suprised me what a differance it made to the power and smoothness it gave to my GT" —Brian S from Middletown, CT bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2012 Ford Mustang, GT, 5.0L V8.

"This intake is awesome! The fact that it does not need a tune is really helpful if your not looking to drop over $600. Definately noticed my stang was breathing better, less RPM's used at higher gears, but I didn't really notice an increase in gas milage." —Michael C from Blue Bell, PA bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2012 Ford Mustang, GT, 5.0L V8.

"I have used cold air intake systems on other vehicles with great success for both power and effciency. The BBK system is extremely well made. With a gulp of air, the Mustang 3.7 V6 really starts showing its horsepower. The only criticism I have of the BBK kit was the printed instructions. The pictures are so dark that the paper is a crime against trees. BBK does offer great instructions online with video and PDF. They could put something better in the box." —Thomas O from Deridder, LA bought a BBK Power-Plus Cold Air Intake Systems for a 2012 Ford Mustang, 3.7L V6.

"Until I get a new tune from Hypertech that is specific to the AEM Brute Force Air Intake for my '12 Mustang GT, the final verdict will have to wait. What I am surprised about most so far is that I did a freeway -only trip and recorded 25.29 mpg going 75 mph most of the time (w/o AC on) w/an auto trans. That's rather remarkable for car that now has 400+ HP (AND TQ)." —Rich K from San Francisco, CA bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2012 Ford Mustang, 5.0L V8.

"Looks good, slightly better throttle response and nice sounding when you step on it. Too soon to tell if gas mileage will increase. Very satisfied." —Robert H from High Bridge, NJ bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2012 Ford Mustang, 3.7L V6.

BBK Throttle Bodies

You Need This Mod

Went with the throttle body and CAI combo. Simply stated, this is an essential mod for the 3.7 liter v6. Low RPM acceleration is vastly improved. I get on the gas and get some sweet tire chirp going from second to third gear (auto trans). Get more growl from my Flowmaster exhaust upgrade. Couldn't be happier and AutoAnything's prices are the best out there. View more reviews...
