Not sure which 2001 Ford Ranger Air Intake Systems are right for you? We have over 20796 customer reviews, with an average rating of 4.5, to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Here's what some of our customers have said:

"Installation was exceptionally simple, unscrew this, slide this on, screw it together. If I could make a suggestion, assemble as much of the new filter housing as you can before you start ripping out the stock intake this way you arent standing at your engine putting the new intake together with a bunch of screws laying around. Overall a great upgrade, definitely increases engine pick up power at low and high speeds, very loud at 3 to 4k RPMs." —Sean N from Cambridge, MA bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2001 Ford Ranger, 4.0L V6.

"Installation was easy. The whistle may get annoying but sounds cool for now. Can feel the extra power on the low end and the mpg went up 1 to 1.5mpg. not bad for the price." —Matthew B from Denver, CO bought an Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer for a 2001 Ford Ranger.

"Installation went fairly well, had to reverse (2) of the bolts to get filter to seat properly into baffle. Performance has improved a little, waiting to see if gas mileage is up." —Robert Nicholas C from Washington, PA bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2001 Ford Ranger.

"I had a throttle body spacer on orignally and i installed the k&n and there was no room. So I took the spacer off and there was plenty of room for the filter looks great truck really does run better. make sure you have your bat. totally off when you install it." —John D from Gilbert, AZ bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2001 Ford Ranger, 4.0L V6.

"Installation was easy except for a trip to the parts store to purchase a couple of clamps to replace two that were to small. Overall the kit works great with a gain of about 1.5mpg and a awsome intake sound with a bit more power. There is a hill between work and home that used to kick the trans out of overdrive when on cruize. Now it pulls right over in OD. WB - Fallon,NV" —Wesley B from Fallon, NV bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2001 Ford Ranger, 3.0L V6.

"This little baby is my pride and joy on my 01 Ford ranger Edge......It sounds Kick @$$ when i hit the gas...installation a little hard because the altenator bolt was stuck really good so that toke a little while gettin un-screwed....but other wise BUY THIS PRODUCT>>>YOU CANT GO WRONG!!!!!!" —Jeffrey O from Saint Charles, MO bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2001 Ford Ranger.

K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (50-State Legal)

57 Series FIPK Air Intake

Air cleaner arrived next day after being ordered. In stalled it the next day. Everything fit well though I was a little dubious about the heat shield not being secured to the body. Job took about 40 minutes to finish, fired it up and it worked like a champ. There is little or no extra noise if driving normally but there is a good bark to it when the revs are aloud to run out to 3500-4000. Noticeable improvement in midrange torque and throttle response. Should have done many years ago. View more reviews...

Installation was easy and took about 10 min. The product makes a whistling sound that sounds sweet under hard acceleration, and it gave me some extra horsepower to move my 33's. View more reviews...
