2004 Gmc Sierra Air Intake Systems

The quickest and most popular way to squeeze every last opportunity for power in your car or truck has to do with air consumption. The air intake system was designed from the factory to provide just enough airflow while reducing engine noise and clutter. Unfortunately, most of these designs are not designed to let the most airflow through to your engine. Think of trying to exercise while taking short small breaths, compared to taking big deep breaths. The difference is pivotal. Let that engine breathe freely with one of our cold air intake kits. Check out our Car Air Intake Systems Buying Guide.
Not sure which 2004 GMC Sierra Air Intake Systems are right for you? We have over 20796 customer reviews, with an average rating of 4.5, to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Here's what some of our customers have said:

"very cool, Exactly what I expected, Easy installation. Only thing that I would like to see different would be that it come with a plastic tube. Looks great and has improved gas mileage and given the truck more pep. Waiting on the one for the hemi now." —Timothy S from Tamarac, FL bought a Spectre Cold Air Intake for a 2004 GMC Sierra, 5.3L V8.

"Took about 15 min to install and another 45 to shave about 3/8" off of the K&N cold air intake to get clearance for the fan. It also required a 1/2" x 6" notch in the fan shroud. Had a 700 mile round trip over the rockies and averaged almost 19mpg when normally it would be 14mpg. Has great pull on the long hills and you could feel the added HP. Worth every $$" —Larry L from Greenwood Village, CO bought a Taylor Cable Helix Power Tower Throttle Body Spacer for a 2004 GMC Sierra, 5.3L V8.

"Already getting better mpg after two weeks... Can hear it and feel it when I push down the petal..overal good product" —Alex H from Clifton, CO bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 GMC Sierra, 1500, light-duty, 5.3L V8.

"With a little adjustment and tweak here and there everything fit as it should. There are no indentations to help align the hose clamps, and the rubber used for the elbows etc. is almost too soft and supple. It works for what it is meant for and I have definitely noticed a huge power and torque increase, and a very nice engine growl when I accelerate hard. Combined with headers and a Mandrel bent exhaust-The benefit will be superb. Ceej 2004 GMC Sierra 5.3 litre" —Cj R from Spokane Valley, WA bought a Spectre Cold Air Intake for a 2004 GMC Sierra.

"Great product! only took about 3 days to recieve it! can tell a difference in Hp and Gas mileage! worth the price!" —Brian B from Irving, TX bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2004 GMC Sierra, 5.3L V8.

"Excellent add on to improve performance and gas mileage. Took 30 minutes to put on. Recommend to anyone." —Mike M from Greenwood, IN bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 GMC Sierra, 2500HD, 6.0L V8.

"The K&N FIPK Air Intake that I received was complete and came with clear instructions. Mounted the parts as per the instructions and have had no problems since. We took our time and it still only took about an hour or so to cmplete. Billy D." —Billy S from Buford, GA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 GMC Sierra, 1500, light-duty, 4.3L V6.

"Noticed moderate increase in power for what was instaled. Also noticed 2-3 mpg increase. Install was little tricky had to trim a little of fan shroud to make room. Wanted to also instal a throtle body space but with this motor and air fliter major trimmimg would have to be done to fan and shroud. All and all very pleased with price and performance! :)" —Sara M from Fort Wayne, IN bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 GMC Sierra, 1500, light-duty, 5.3L V8.

"Looks awesome. Installation wasa bit tricky because the square flat opening on new airbox didn't match the contour of the inner fender. A little adhesive-backed rubber stripping took care of that. I discovered that there is an additional opening in the bottom of the air box that allows more air flow but it could prove troublesome in highly dusty conditions or snow which is more likely where I'm from. When driven normally (not matting the throttle to hear the cooler-then-factory sound) I have seen real improvements in fuel economy. Prior to installing the best highway ONLY economy I got was about 15.6 MPG (US). Since the change I have recorded 16.7 MPG COMBINED. That's good news to me. Truck also stays in high gear longer on highway before downshifting , which helps economy. Have only had it on for a couple of months, so I'll report again." —Jim M from Okotoks, AB bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2004 GMC Sierra, 5.3L V8.

"Made a big differance compared to other cold intake that I had in. Easy to install and Looks great under the hood. Increase in fuel milage and power. Thanks" —Gary P from Steamboat Springs, CO bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2004 GMC Sierra, 6.6L Duramax LLY (8th digit in VIN = 2).
