Not sure which 2005 GMC Sierra Air Intake Systems are right for you? We have over 20796 customer reviews, with an average rating of 4.5, to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Here's what some of our customers have said:

" Easy to install as they say it takes close to an hour. The K&N filter looks great under the good, I have definitely notice better sound, throttle response is there, also mpg has increased for my driving style! Recommend this product to anyone" —Ned G from Grand Forks, ND bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2005 GMC Sierra, 1500, light-duty, 5.3L V8.

"Installation wasn't bad. You need some vice grips to back the bolts out that the throttle body attaches to. Directions weren't all that clear, but even for a non-mechanic like me; you can figure it out as you go. Let me say first off, that its not worth getting a TBS unless you have a cold air intake. Also, TBS probably aren't as effective on Vortec engines as they are on other engines, especially older model engines. BUT! with my CAI, I felt like the TBS brought the air system together. I definately noticed a bit more torque and better throttle response. The whistling sound is cool, sounds like a mini turbo...although I can barely hear it over my exhaust." —Michelle B from San Antonio, TX bought an Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer for a 2005 GMC Sierra.

"Installation of the air intake with cold air scoop took about one hour. No noticable increase in power. After about 500 miles of driving watching my trip computer-interstate driving ranged from 21.2 to 24.8 mpg[previous range was 20.2 to 22.5]at a steady 75mph. City driving-16.1mpg-no change." —Jeffrey M from Land O Lakes, FL bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 GMC Sierra, 5.3L V8.

"I bought the k&n intake kit for my 2005 gmc Sierra 4.8 liter and u can really feel a difference in the throttle response, and i totally recommend this product to anyone who does not own one now Go Get One!!!!" —Brad B from Branson, MO bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2005 GMC Sierra, 1500, light-duty, 4.8L V8.

"Keep setting MAF sensor codes! no tec. support! Spent the extra money so I wouldnt have trouble like I see with K/n stuff! Just not Inpressed ! sorry!" —Kevin K from Cole Camp, MO bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 GMC Sierra, 5.3L V8.

"Overall not a bad product. If you are looking for big gains you will need more that just the tube, you should get the whole kit." —Travis H from Round Rock, TX bought an Airaid Modular Intake Tube for a 2005 GMC Sierra.

"Autoanything is very knowledgable & very fast with there shipment.....great price too." —Matt B from Poway, CA bought a Banks Ram-Air Intake for a 2005 GMC Sierra.

"I just recently installed the Volant in my '05 Sierra & pleased with the results. I have a 40-series Flowmaster to pair with the intake. Both sound throaty & kick out some off the line power! Volant needs to put out some better installation instructions though." —John K from San Bernardino, CA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 GMC Sierra.

"I really like the design of the intake. It actually pulls cool air with the enclosed box. Haven't really noticed much diesel mileage, but I do feel an extra kick on my truck." —Carlos L from Alta Loma, CA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2005 GMC Sierra, 6.6L Duramax.

"I just put the 57-3038 K&N FIPK on my GMC pickup. Although it was a bit tricky to install and took over 2 hours, there was a very noticeable improvement in throttle response. It is now instantaneous across the rev band. I alreaady had a high performance exhaust system, and the kit really helped it breathe. It is hard to tell about the horsepower increase, which is more apparent at higher rpm's, but driveability is greatly improved. Looks great, almost like it was custom made, and definitely worth the money, especially at the price I got from Auto Anything, and free shipping !!! Greg " —Gregory S from Montrose, PA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2005 GMC Sierra, 1500, light-duty, 4.3L V6.
