2008 Gmc Sierra Air Intake Systems

The quickest and most popular way to squeeze every last opportunity for power in your car or truck has to do with air consumption. The air intake system was designed from the factory to provide just enough airflow while reducing engine noise and clutter. Unfortunately, most of these designs are not designed to let the most airflow through to your engine. Think of trying to exercise while taking short small breaths, compared to taking big deep breaths. The difference is pivotal. Let that engine breathe freely with one of our cold air intake kits. Check out our Car Air Intake Systems Buying Guide.
Not sure which 2008 GMC Sierra Air Intake Systems are right for you? We have over 20796 customer reviews, with an average rating of 4.5, to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Here's what some of our customers have said:

"Noticable difference in throttle response and overall performance. 30 min install. Probably over priced as are all intake kits. Missing the larger elbow for the PCV hook up but made it work. Overall good looks and as promised performance. Would recommend to others." —John K from Leesville, LA bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2008 GMC Sierra, 4.0L V6.

"Shows a little gain low end, but does best at mid to high end. After adding a K&N FIPK the power from the two together was more liniar. Will upgrade the exhaust soon." —John M from San Antonio, TX bought a Jet Power-Flow TBI Spacer for a 2008 GMC Sierra.

"I can tell the difference as far as being able hear more air flow. I have a K&N Air intake system and the Edge Evolution performance chip. Would recommend this product especially if you have a Air Intake system." —Eduardo D from Sugar Land, TX bought a Jet Power-Flow Mass Air Sensor for a 2008 GMC Sierra, 5.3L V8, 8th digit of VIN = J.

"Looks good. Installed it along with a Helix throttle body spacer. Has more low end torque, but haven't driven it far enough for a fuel mileage check. Haven't heard much, if any, more whistling, etc., these mods are sometimes known for. The installation of both at the same time was very convenient, since removing the original intake is required for either. Install was a tad tougher than K&N would suggest. Had to do some cutting, bending, and drilling to install the heat shield the filter sits in. Inner fender problem required cutting and bending, and the bottom of the heat shield required a 5/8" hole be drilled into the bottom of the air box on some trucks, like mine. At the very least, I have more torque, and hopefully, better gas mileage." —Thomas W from Hansville, WA bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2008 GMC Sierra.

"Did the job. Definately more juice! Better throttle response. Love the sound when you step on it, it also made the borla exhaust sound deeper." —Frank R from Pharr, TX bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2008 GMC Sierra, New body style, 1500, 5.3L V8.

"-Took me a while to fix it since it was my first time to get in the hood! -Instructions where fine, but could've been better with clearer images. -Wasn't 100% satisfied about the fixing, however gains made me forgive! -Was doing 7.1s before. After was doing easy 6.8s -Sound is fine as long I dont floor it, otherwise nothing much is noticeable! -One thing though, more engine heat coming in than the stock one, so dont expect much in freq. stops & heavy traffic in summer -Lost 0.5MPG in my first run, still watching though" —Mohammad B from Springfield Gardens, NY bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2008 GMC Sierra, New body style, 1500, 5.3L V8.

"easy to install cause I watched another brand put in the same truck. The instructions? Must have missed somethin in the expanded parts picture. It doesn't tell you to use some of the existing hardware. Over all, it did just what the doctor ordered. Go fast or save gas." —David K from Livermore, CA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2008 GMC Sierra, 5.3L V8.

"Makes a difference! I noticed more horsepower as soon as it went on. I'm not sure about the mpgs yet as I have had a hard time not putting my foot into the gas pedal. The price through autoanything was cheaper by far than any other site or retailer that I have seen." —Chris B from Salem, OR bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2008 GMC Sierra, 5.7L Hemi .

"Good instructions although lacking regarding removal of several other bolts to allow extrication of the factory air box. One also needs seveal other tools includin 10 and 12mm sockets. Easy fit after removal and great finish. Immediate and noticable improvement in throttle responseand overall performance. Well worth the money. Sounds awesome and looks better. 2006 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE 2.4L" —John K from Leesville, LA bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2008 GMC Sierra, 2.4L 4-cyl. engine, automatic transmission.

"I installed this intake in about 35 minutes and was very impressed with the fit and quality of all the parts. When driving normal you don't even hear the intake and when at heavy throttle its sounds really good but not too loud.I noticed some more midrange power and fuel economy has increased by about 1-2 mpg.Very good product and couldn't beat the price from Auto Anything anywhere." —Dustin D from Winder, GA bought a Spectre Cold Air Intake for a 2008 GMC Sierra, 5.3L V8.

K&N Cold Air Intake Replacement Filters

K&N Filter for 2007 Sierra Crew Cab

I needed a new filter. Auto Anything had the best price and shipped it free quickly. It comes with a new clamp as well, so there was no need to clean up the old clamp. I could have washed my old filter, but for the price of the cleaning kits and the time needed to wash and re oil the filter, I figured it would be best to just buy a new one. View more reviews...
