Air Intake Systems

2009 Gmc Sierra Air Intake Systems

The quickest and most popular way to squeeze every last opportunity for power in your car or truck has to do with air consumption. The air intake system was designed from the factory to provide just enough airflow while reducing engine noise and clutter. Unfortunately, most of these designs are not designed to let the most airflow through to your engine. Think of trying to exercise while taking short small breaths, compared to taking big deep breaths. The difference is pivotal. Let that engine breathe freely with one of our cold air intake kits. Check out our Car Air Intake Systems Buying Guide.

"I was very happy with the looks and quality of this kit.Everything went in place very easily until it was time to put the main elbow to the throttle body connection. It would not fit without mods to the fan shroud and the elbow.I cut a small notch out of the fan shroud and cut 1 inch off the elbow then it fit quite nicely. The breather hose was very tight going over the breather tube on the engine, one size larger diameter would be a help there.Everything else fit very nicely and looks great.I havent run my truck enough to notice a difference in mpg but it sure cant hurt." —Trevor P from Washburn, ME bought a Spectre Cold Air Intake for a 2009 GMC Sierra.

"I found installing the K&N 63 fairly easy to install. The only part that was an issue was drilling the 5/8" hole for the new mount, but it still only took about an hour to install." —David R from Layton, UT bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2009 GMC Sierra.

"I installed my intake in about one and 30mins. It was very easy to do. I gained about 2 mpg. I have not pull by boat yet to see if I gain any more power. K&N Cold Air Intake Replacement Filters

K&N Filter for 2007 Sierra Crew Cab

I needed a new filter. Auto Anything had the best price and shipped it free quickly. It comes with a new clamp as well, so there was no need to clean up the old clamp. I could have washed my old filter, but for the price of the cleaning kits and the time needed to wash and re oil the filter, I figured it would be best to just buy a new one. View more reviews...
