    Description

Restriction can exist BETWEEN an air filter and the engine. This is the weakest link in the airflow "chain" and robs a vehicle of its natural horsepower. Often that weak point is the factory air path leading to the Engine. K&N air intake systems virtually eliminate air path restriction by replacing the air filter and the entire air path to the engine. The aerodynamically engineered tube drives a massive amount of air into an engine, which translates into POWER. The 57 Series Gen II Air Intake Kits are built for many different vehicles and represent a dramatic improvement over any O/E intake filter; they use only non-metallic rotationally molded tubes that can reduce air temperature and decrease intake sound over a metal tube.

4.7 Laramie with a super 40 flowmaster exhaust and superchip tune. This K&N intake was fairly straight forward to install. The only issue I had was the included breather hose was too small in diameter. I had to get one that fit. My truck has a deeper tone to it and definitely more throttle response. Also, my truck shifts better. Great product. If you're looking for an upgrade, don't hesitate on this intake!

    It's ok

Has deep sound when accelerating hard. Has a loud hiss sound when the engine is shut off. Only had it installed for a day. Install took about 20 minutes. The box didn't fit very well but it's in how the directions show.

This unit went together very well, about 45 minutes install time. Had an awesome sound after install. Improved power was very noticeable and gas mileage has improved. I highly recommend this unit.

One clamp was too small, other than that installation was simple. Can feel the difference in power and fuel economy has improved by 3-4 mpg according to vehicle computer. Would definitely recommend.
