Definitely lacks quality. I bent and contoured the brackets to get them to fit. The connector boot was barely enough to cover the gap. The intake pipe crushed under the pressure of tightening the hose clamp. Not exactly what I expected from k&n but lesson learned. Performance is different per the car. Haven't noticed any crazy increase or mpg but it's not been long. Sounds good though!

Can't give 5 stars for all of the categories, because the filter that was provided has a hole in the metal end, intended to use the stock air filter minder. However, my vehicle already had a K&N cold air intake on it and I bought this filter to have one to immediately replace the dirty one, clean, oil it and put it a way for the next time. The filter is supposed to come with a rubber plug so that a person wouldn't have to use the stock filter minder. I'm disappointed, that it was not provided.
