Taylor Cable works a bit different than ordinary performance outfits. That is, they like to use tested technology to give you the most power possible. The Helix Power Tower PLUS Throttle Body Spacer? Well, it's a perfect example of the Taylor Cable difference.
Bottom-end spacers are just a slab with a bored hole. One notch up, you've got the slab with a bored hole and fins that whistles while it works. Then comes the Helix Power Tower PLUS Throttle Body Spacer's expert crafting and design. The difference? The Helix Power Tower PLUS is dyno and flow bench tested to create perfect air turbulence, better detonation, and more power.
How much power? Try up to 22 HP with up to a 25 ft. lb. torque chaser, depending on your driving style. And mileage? Well, if you're into backing off the gas a bit to save a few bucks, you can get up to 4 MPG back.

Very easy installation. Improved performance was noticeable right away. Better and smoother low-end acceleration.

So far I am pleased with the low end torque from the TBS. The installation was more difficult due to the way the Honda 2.4 throttle body attaches to the intake manifold.More of the engine cover has to be removed to access the back nuts for the tb &spacer.

not much difference for mpg or performance, didn't notice anything yet.

Don't really notice much difference, has a slight whistle noise but other wise it does what it says.

I've read many critiques of throttle body spacers, many of which say they do nothing - are a waste of money. I disagree. Maybe they didn't install the Taylor. The improvements are subtle; better throttle response, smoother idling, and an overall "feel" that the engine is not working as hard, especially on inclines. I installed mine on a 2007 Ford F-150 and love it. Great craftsmanship and looks good under the hood. 10 minute install. .
