The item is consistent with description and installed easily with a few tools. All the holes lined up with the stock mounting points. What I like mainly is that it's a dry filter and it's not in a box. I believe pairing this with a ram air hood could make this more of a cold air intake, but as you can see the air comes from quarter panel/wheel well area anyway. This didn't increase power(only @ high rpm) or mileage, but perhaps combined with other mods it could be more significant.

So after much research on these products I finally decided on this truXP. I purchased a Taylor helix TBS to match with it... the price was a little less as i got it on a 10% off deal. I like the looks of it and install was straight forward but I do not really feel much difference in performance... has a nice little grunt through mid range and small torque gains... absolutely no gain in gas milage... even if im being light on it ;) overall I'm not unhappy but would consider other options.

I purchased the TruPx cold air intake instead of a K&N the cost difference was about$100 difference between the two. It was a Breeze to install. The only thing was the bag that the hardware came in was missing 2 nuts . I got one mile to the gallon better gas mileage after installing the cold air intake and it sounds much meaner when I stand on it. I would recommend getting a dust cover for the air elment at the same time you order the cold air intake.
