should be easier if not for vinyl bed rails

my left vinyl bed rail was miscut at factory and my putco side rail did not line up at hole in the front. if i had started on right side i would have known this as it was perfect. left side took four times longer to cut hole as i did not know where it was for sure. i'm trying to make my black 2015 ram laramie limited edition look like a black chromed harley davidson and the putco rails is a good start. second pair i've owned and yes i use them. good as advertised.

Putco Pop Up Lockers for my 2014 GMC Sierra

These are very high-quality rails. I am very particular about the quality of parts I put on my truck, and I have been extremely happy with my choice of the Putco Pop Up Locker rails. I was able to use them the very next day after I installed them when I moved my daughter to college. The pop up anchors are actually much stronger than I assumed they would be, so while I wouldn't use them for racheting down very heavy loads, they did a great job securing boxes and some light furniture. Quality of the finish is great, and installation was very straightforward. I also have an Access Lorado tonneau cover on my truck, and that cover did use the stake pocket for the rear bracket, so I wound up using a longer bolt that I was able to get through the bracket for both the rails and the tonneau, and now both are secure and look great.

Easy Install, Great Looks

Very sleek looking rails that install easily. Also with the pop up lockers you still have all the functionality for tie downs if needed. Well thought out.

Putco Pop Up Locker

I like the appearance of the rails, they really make my truck look great!!! I had a hard time trying to figure out the directions as they were not very clear. I had to contact customer service for Putco and they helped me figure it out within seconds. A+ for telephone customer service. D- for directions in the package. I would most likely recommend this product for looks only, I don't trust the tie downs as to the way the rails were installed. Still, I'd buy them again!!!

bed rails

I don't know how much pressure I can put on them when I strap things down tight, which is the only reason I did not give it a higher quality rating

Superbly crafted product

The stainless finish shines like chrome. Rails were a breeze to install in the existing stake holes in the bed and tightened nicely with the expansion blocks. (I never discovered a torque spec in the instructions received in the packaging. A torque spec was mentioned in some online installation instructions; however it didn't reference the required inch or foot pounds). The rails were a little pricey but I would recommend this product to others.

Decent Overall... Somewhat Pricy

Super easy to install. 30 minutes tops... Fit my Dodge Dakota perfect, and they definitely give it a nice look. They would look better without the "seam" where the rail joins to the elbow. Seemed like a pretty steep price for the product, but I am happy with the looks of them.

Color

Overall I am very pleased with the product. There are two areas for improvement. 1.They should come with gaskets that completely cover the stake-holes. make sure you consider this when mounting and make your own out of thin plastic. Otherwise you will see the corners of the stake holes. 2.The tubing is slightly yellower than the mounting ends more than likely due to the fact that they are of completely different gage metals. Nobody will notice. The tubing, mounts, and plastic sleeves all go together perfectly. Nicely manufactured.

Bed rails

the Putco bed rails were easy to put on. I was disappointed with the finish of the rails. The mounts had nice shiny chrome. the rails were off color brushed stainless steel. they had a dark tint to them. they would have looked a lot nicer if they were as bright as the mounts. think the pop up lock downs were cool

Very satisfied

Looks very good on the truck, very easy to install, and helps keep the rain out of the bed by covering the side pocket.

Easy to install

The rails were received in under the time promised, which was a suprise given the holiday time period. The rails were installed literally in about 1/2 hour, with no drilling as promised. Fit was great. Would recommend.

Fantastic product

My Fiance' loved them soooo much, he went out in the rain and insalled them. They installed on his Titan very easily and quickly. The service rep I spoke to on the phone was extremely helpful, he knew exactly what a 30 year old Redneck would want:)

nice product

I found the install to be easy although i did need to borrow a torque wrench to tighten to 65 foot pounds the rails are a great addition for my ram pickup and with the pop up lockers much easier to secure my cargo stainless steel is the way to go no worries about rust in the future
