The tailgate cap looks great on the truck. If you like the shiny look I recommend buying a Putco tailgate chrome handle, really makes the gate pop. I read the reviews on here before buying. And one comment on the DEE-whatever (other gate cap company) was it didn't come with 3M tape. Well the Putco doesn't either. The other comment also complained about how it would scatch up his gate cause it didn't have tape. Well dude, thats what YOUR CAPPING IT FOR. :) Also, 3M tape isn't that expensive, it's like $5. You just bought a $70 gate cap, you can afford some tape. I bought some tape and applied it to the cap. I recommend this as the cap might not totally sit flat..ie:you have to hold it down to screw it on. Not a big deal. But the tape really seemed to help. I have had nothing but a good experience with Putco.

This product arrived exactly as it should have with no problems. Installation was easy--I recommend pre-drilling pilot holes. It did appear that the left side of the guard was cut slightly longer than the right, making for an uneven appearance, which is why I only gave it 4 stars.

I've purchased Putco Products for Three trucks now. I'm always happy with the quality of their products. I just wish you could rely on the handling during shipping,I had to straighten one end and there were scratches and a dent near the middle of the tailgate guard.

Overall, exactly what I was looking for. Minor problem was that it was bent slightly when I received it, but not enough to justify returning it. I gently reformed it with a rubber hammer and was able to get it back so the imperfection could only be noted after careful, close inspection. Shipment, customer Service, etc. was great. Thanks!
