My previous tailgate cap went MIA. I had to find something to cover the mess that was under there. This cap looks perfect. Very simple to put on and fits like a glove. Although, I'm not 100% sure that I exposed all of the tape. This is my work truck that I use to maintain my rentals. It has to be functional but I still want to look good...

The tailgate cap went on pretty easy and I haven't had problems so far. I got it to protect the top of the tailgate from my dirtbike ramp and it is doing that great and is holding up to all the other junk that has gone to the dump in my truck.

I purchased the Bushwacker Ultimate DiamondBack TailGate Cap and Bed Rail Caps. The tailgate cap was a breeze to put on, although, I had to wait a while to install it, because the product and the surface you are sticking it to has to be at least 60 degrees. I used a hairdryer and made it work. If you are thinking about the Bed Rail Caps though, just know that they look good and are easy to put on, BUT I purchased the ones with the cut-outs for the stake-pocket holes and the holes do NOT match up. They ended up being about a half inch off. Not a huge deal, but if you're really picky about stuff like that, you won't like it. I purchased them for a 1990 Chevy Silverado K1500 Long Bed.
