I bought Wade bed caps when my truck was new and had spray-on bedliner applied to the bed and tailgate. Now 18 years later, the side bed caps still look good but the bed liner is coming off on the edge of the tailgate so I bought the Wade tailgate cap. It is easy to install and looks good but when unloading items, the edge of the cap does catch on whatever you are sliding out. I plan to lift the cap and use a stronger adhesive. Cap is not as deep as pictured as another reviewer noted.

I bought both the Wade bed rail protectors and the tailgate cap. These are great products. They are not made of soft plastic that scratches and gouges easily, like what is on current production Ford trucks. They are a harder plastic that is tough and durable. I highly recommend this product.

It is a piece of hard plastic that is designed to fit the contour of your tailgate, its not going to stay on if you don't use mechanical fasteners so plan on drilling, no fasteners came in the box. It's just OK, least impressive of my Auto Anything purchases, not their issue... it is what it is.
