"I have purchased two differant brands of plastic side bed cap protectors and both of them only lasted 2 years in the hot Florida sun before they cracked and came loose, that is why I'am glad I found these ones made of black powdered coated aluminum, And unlike the two other brands that were shipped to me by the manufactures in flimsey card board boxes that were all bent up when they arived by UPS the Dee Zee's were boxed in extra heavy duty ridged card board containers that arrive undamaged.
