Swagman XC 2 Bike Platform Hitch Bike Rack

Very nice for the price

I purchased the 1.25" model to attach to a 2001 Impala, and am very happy with it. Setup was simple an quick, and bikes are held securely. Nice quality and good design. My only complaints I have are minimal, but something you might want to consider before you buy. Since the rack does extend out behind the vehicle, it has the tendency to drag even in small dips if you mount it to a car hitch. My hitch lies underneath and is not flush with the back of my rear bumper, which makes the inside bike very close the car, so I have to use strategic pedal positioning so the bike doesn't scratch my bumper. SUV's probably won't have these issues. The paint also scratches off easily when sliding the ratcheting adjusters up and down and I had to glue the red rubber trigger covers on as both were falling off. All of these complaints are nit-picky though. This is a great rack and overall, i'm happy with my decision, and saved $150 by not buying a Saris or Yakima, etc. View more reviews...

INNO Tire Hold II Hitch Bike Rack

Close to perfection... I'm buying another for my other car!

I got the 4-bike rack and it's no exaggeration to call it life changing! Our old Yakima hanging rack was a nightmare in comparison and made loading the bikes a lengthy and tedious chore. The Inno is a breeze and is much more secure and gentle on the bikes. My only gripe is that it's extremely heavy so getting it attached to the car is really a two person job. We just leave it on all the time as it still offers very easy access to the rear hatch of our SUV. View more reviews...

Pro Series Q-Slot Hitch Mount Bike Rack

Schu

Although I haven't transported bikes, the quality and design of the carrier is very good. It's solid and well made. I wish it was made in USA. The plan is to drive long distance with two bikes on the back of a Tundra. View more reviews...

Two Wheels or Four? Why Not Both? Let’s Talk Bike Racks

Earlier last year I found myself pretty listless and frankly down in the dumps. Call it the COVID blues, or quarantine gloom. I just couldn’t get very motivated to do much of anything. I was complaining about this to my buddy, and he said, “You used to be big into mountain bikes, why don’t you […] The post Two Wheels or Four? Why Not Both?
