It's no secret that you dropped some serious coin on your bicycle. And, that roof rack, whether it came factory or aftermarket, wasn't exactly free, either. So, when you buy a bike rack, the last thing you want to do is spend hard-earned cash on adaptors, or even worse, a new roof rack. So, set your mind, and your wallet at ease with the Yakima FrontLoader Bike Rack.
The most versatile bike rack in the Yakima arsenal, the FrontLoader is the only direct-to-factory-crossbar upright bike mount out there. And, it's easy to use and install, too. Just pull it out of the box, attach it to your square, round or factory crossbars, tighten it down, load your bike and go! And believe it or not, all that happens without the use of any tools, save for that mechanical masterpiece known as your hand.
As kind to your bike as it is versatile on your roof, the Yakima FrontLoader never touches your frame or components. It locks to your roof and to your bike, so it's always there when you get back. And, since it fits all wheel sizes and accommodates disc brakes, thru axles and funky frame shapes, this roof bike rack holds whatever you ride. Even better, Yakima backs your FrontLoader Bike Rack with their legendary Lifetime Warranty.

Pretty solid design and accommodates various wheel sizes from 20-29". Looks like it could also work with just about any roof rack. Worked well with my Rhino Vortex 2500 Rack. The only flaw I see is that the rear wheel mounting strap just floats on the bar, and it would be nice if there were a locking feature for this. (note: SKS locks are sold separately)

I recently upgraded from a Fuji Nevada 1.5 to a Giant Trance SX and realized the Giant wouldn't work with my Inno Fork Lock III, so I decided to get the FrontLoader. I've only used it a few times so far, but it's been steady and the bike moves very little at highway speeds. Loading up after a solid day of riding is way easier now, and not having to deal with taking the front tire off anymore saves that much energy that I already don't have. Definitely would recommend!

I now have 2 of these bike racks, and they work well. They are easy to use and are fairly quick. They could be a little quicker, it takes a little time to twist and untwist the front knob. That's why I ordered the INNO Tire Hold Roof Bike Rack trying to find something quicker, but I sent that back because it didn't stabilize the bike near enough. The Yakima FrontLoader Bike Rack is way better than the INNO Rack. Auto Anything was also great to work with during the return/exchange.

I purchased 4 of these to put on my tonneau cover so I can carry the family bikes when I pull the travel trailer. They attached great to my Rhino Rack bars all the bikes from my boys 20" bike to my 29" bike seem to be very secure. The front of the rack was a little bulky and bigger than I anticipated but seems well built.

The frontloader seems to be a well made product and is extremely easy to use. I had it attached to my rack and loaded with my bike in less than 10 minutes. Autoanything has the best price and it was delivered within a few days.
