I have recently purchased and installed the main grille and the bumper grills with the Carriage Works Monster Bar Replacement Billet Grille and bumper grills in the polished look on my new FORD FLEX. In the description of the product it states "no cutting required". This is a FALSE statement as you have to remove, which means to cut out the entire original grill to do the install per the instructions provided with the product. I have actually been able to install mine without the cutting process and going to my local hardware store to by some toggle bolts for the lower grill mounts. for the upper I was able to drill to small holes where the mounting screws go and used the supplied nut/fasteners behind the old grill with the supplied bolts. I am now able to have the FORD emblem mounted or dismounted as the original supports are still there for it now. I think it looks great on the truck as it has changed the appearance a great deal, and looks like no one elses.

I was expecting a better quality product than the one I received. The lower grills were of excellent quality and looks. The upper grill on the other hand looked like it was someone first try at polishing the aluminum. It had cuts and gouges in the black part of the grill which had to be repainted. the hardware had the wrong screws and was missing an L bracket. For the price I was expecting much better!

This Grille has truly personlized my vehicle, however the installation was a series of adjustments that seemed to go on forevever. The fit was not true. I expected it to be more modular. Looks fantastic. Certainly turns heads

I'm an attorney and initially I was a little concerned this look would be too 'urban'.In fact, the triple grilles I bought look very sophisticated on my 09 Ford Flex. I no longer have the Ford blue oval in front and people don't know what model my car is. Already reveived compliments on the look. Looks kind of like a Land Rover or Escalade. Bought the heavier guage billets with wider spacing and the two lower grilles also. Paid a friend $50 for an hour of his time to install them, I was too busy. Actually, after the install,I removed and replaced the top grill to spray paint the area behind it black, as the Ford Flex had too much shiny metal that showed thru the front. Very prompt shipment. Beautiful shiny finish Aluminum feels much more substantial that the stock Ford shiny plastic top grill, or the black plastic stock lower grills. As good as these look I'm surprised Ford doesn't offer this type of look.
