"this grill arrived quickly and was easy to install but it does look better when you put 1" spacers and longer screws between the brackets and the grill attachment ears. both my son and one of his frends are going to order this grill for their 2012 fords." —Robert A from Uxbridge, MA bought a Carriage Works Billet Grille for a 2012 Ford F-150, Lariat.
"I got this for my new f150, with Ecoboost, dont be afraid to add this to complete the look of your truck. I was concerned that maybe there would be a problem putting a grill over that gaping hole in the bumper where the inercooler is but I have notice NO issues with this at all and doubt that there will be any issue in the future, plus it adds some peice of mind and protection for the IC. Makes the front end POP and look complete, I'll never understand what Ford was thinking leaving it open there but this definatly fixes the problem. Just a hint on the install, add some 3/4 inch spacers behind the bracket mounts where it ataches to the 2 big holes in the stock brackets, then drill a whole through the brackets and the stock brackets and the shims, once you have everything lined up, and put a small bolt, nut, and lock washer to tie the whole thing down. The clamp style brackets are probably adequite but, this adds some peice of mind and the shims push the grill out to sit nearly flush with the space between the 2 " Bread loafs" and it looks really sharp, much better than the way it was intended to be installed. Overall an easy mod for not allot of cash!! Also used blue Locktite on everything." —David H from Crescent, PA bought a Carriage Works Billet Grille for a 2012 Ford F-150, XLT.
"Super easy instal. Added new blank plate covers on each side, and completely changed the front of the truck. Simply got rid of the annoying eco boost hole under the bumper!" —Rhett M from Henderson, NV bought a Carriage Works Billet Grille for a 2012 Ford F-150, FX4.
"I hit a phesant on a trip that took out the stock plastic grill. I was able to remove the center of the grill that was broke and install the T. rex. Looks better the new and shouldn't brake like the plastic did." —Joseph H from Waldo, WI bought a T-Rex Billet Grille for a 2012 Ford F-150.
