Akebono Brakes, Rotors & Pads

Akebono Brakes

Your brake pads have gone the way of a spin instructor: They’re too thin and they won’t stop screeching at you. It’s time to change them before they cause serious damage to your rotors. Thanks to Akebono brakes, you can replace your pads without paying dealership prices.
Akebono brakes are proudly manufactured in the USA and the company has been in the brake business for more than 85 years -- so you might say they know a little something about what makes a brake pad fit for your treasured truck or mint condition Mustang. Akebono is also proud to be a leader in advanced braking noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) solutions. In fact, some of the company’s biggest customers are Ford, Chrystler, Nissan, and Volkswagen (ever heard of them?). In other words, when you pick up a set of Akebono brake pads, you’re installing a product you can trust. There is one thing to know about Akebono, rotors aren’t on the menu at this time, because they are focusing on what they do best.

Akebono pads leverage vehicle-optimized ceramic formulas that leave your brakes silent, reliable, and durable. There’s no break-in required and your Akebono brake pads have incredible stopping power without making a sound. They can even prolong your rotor life. And did we mention the pads make stopping really, really quiet? Plus, when you want to keep your wheels as clean as a whistle (which should be always), Akebono pads are a great choice. Why is that, you ask? These brake pads eliminate brake dust. That means those pesky iron particles that usually result from fast stops and natural wear and tear are nowhere to be found. Put simply, you can trust the brake pads by Akebono. Rotors will roll smoothly with them and your braking system will be living it’s best life.

Not only are Akebono brakes trusted by some of the biggest auto manufacturers in the game, but each Akebono brake pad is backed by a 30-day warranty. The company’s Pro-ACT ceramic brake pads fit almost all popular late-model domestic and Asian vehicles. That includes Buick, Cadillac, Honda, Infiniti, and Toyota. The gang’s all here. Meanwhile, the Akebono Euro brake pads are a match made in high-performance heaven for the vehicle control intended by manufacturers like Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche.

Do you drive your truck in conditions usually reserved for dramatic, aerial-filmed car commercials? If you’re often tapping your brakes on slick Northern Minnesota roads or off-roading along Arizona terrain, the Performance line of Akebono pads can tackle anything you throw at them. Yes, even a trip to the nearest bunker in a zombie apocalypse situation.

Bringing your vehicle to an immediate stop has never been easier. Akebono brake pads are quiet, dust-free, and built to last. Whether your chariot of choice is a Chevy or a Land Rover, a set of pads from one of industry leaders in quiet braking makes driving safer. Buying Akebono brake pads from AutoAnything is easy, and our customer reviews give you some insight into what other drivers have to say before you pull the trigger. Akebono Brake Pads

2018 Ram2500 Cummins, Akebono brake pad review. Quiet/no dust.

In short, I replaced the factory service brake pads and rotors at 48k due to creaking and squealing. I put Akebono ATC brake pads + gold rotors from AutoZone on. After a couple of weeks the pads started to mate to the rotors) the pedal feel vastly improved and they grab with authority with just the weight of my foot necessary. I highly recommend Akebono pads & when I buy my next new Ram I'm replacing the Fac.pads with these & save rotor$$. View more reviews...
