Great Brakes

I've used Hawk brake pads on my Mustang that I 1/4 mile raced. they worked Great for that purpose, so I purchased a set for my F-350 S/D Powerstroke. They work awesome on my truck too! even with a heavy load they still have great stopping power and no brake fade at all. little on the high price side but well worth it! I would recommend Hawk Pads to anyone!

Hawk Superduty Brake Pads

Just got them on so haven't driven with them yet but the are twice as thick as our old ones. They appear to be great quality. Put them on the back. Now I want them for the front of my Ford F350 Superduty.

SD HAWK BRAKE PADS

I updated by brake system a number of years ago with slotted rotors, and Hawk SD brake pads. A really good combo for towing my '44 enclosed auto trailer. Hawk brake pads are the only pads I use.

1st pair

Installed pads on rear of my 2012 F 350. After I burnished them per instructions I couldn't believe the difference in the brake pedal, it required less pressure. I will be installing them on the front even if they don't need to be replaced. You won't be sorry.

No improvement over OE

First I had a technical question for Hawk. Left a voice mail and sent an Email, Six days have gone by with no response from Hawk, just gave up trying. I replaced rotors flushed the system and installed the SD pads, followed the bedding in procedures recommended be Hawk. I do not notice any difference from OE. Based on some reviews I read I would have expected more.To expensive for the lack of performance and non existent customer support. I would not recommend any Hawk product!

HAWD Super Duty

Great stopping power. I replaced both front and rear at 100k miles on 2WD 2500 Cummins RAM. I did sand rotors to break in properly, but still have some squealing.

Best break I have had on this truck, Only had it a few months but I am able to feel a big difference with this break set. Very positive breaking, as far as I can tell its much cleaner than the previous set.

USPS Rural Carrier & F Brake Pads

I began my employment as a USPS Rural Carrier in 1988. My daily route consisted of 425 stops in 111 miles. A large portion of my route was over poorly maintained gravel loads. Needless to say these factors were extremely hard on my RH drive Jeeps, but in particular the brake pads. Every 3000 miles maint would include, oil, filter, lube, and brake pads. I tried everything from State Police to race approved pads only doubling milage. Then I tried a set of Hawk Superduty and now get 18~20K. 5-STAR

Better than stock

These pads seem to work well, but I am still breaking them in. When installing I had to grind some metal off to make sure they would slide freely on the carrier. Wish they came with more grease for the price you pay. They immediately firmed up the peddle and braking. Overall not a bad product, but a bit pricey.

Great Product, Great Price.

Pads are great, seems to have similar stopping power to my other heavy duty pads that I was running. Break in was easy. Typical change on duallies is not the easiest, as spreading the caliper is extremely hard since a normal spreader does not fit. However this is my 4th set on this truck so I am used to dealing with it. Hawk seems to have a great pad at a great price
