Description:

To say that your factory rotors ‘stop short' should be a good thing. But, all they really do is stop short of performance, style and longevity. In order to really shorten your stops and boost your style stop after stop, you have to take matters into your own hands and upgrade your factory system with StopTech Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors.

The difference between OEM rotors and StopTech drilled & slotted rotors is the cross-drilled design, directional vane cooling and advanced metallurgy. This triple dose of brake rotor performance delivers an aggressive bite that stays cool under pressure and resists fade stop after stop. Even under heavy, high-performance use, your StopTech rotors never fade. And, the behind-the-wheel style always stops the show!

StopTech's center-split core castings and precision mill balancing ensure maximum strength, stability and smooth operation. Couple that with directional vented cooling and you a get a drilled & slotted rotor with the most effective heat transfer available. Plus, all non-friction surfaces get a black anti-corrosive E-Coat to stop rust. And best yet, StopTech backs your Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors with a 90-day or 3,000 mile warranty depending on which occurs first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the rotors rust?
All "swept surfaces" of any steel based rotor will rust, however non friction surfaces will maintain a black coating for maximum protection against rust and corrosion. These typically will look great for years.

What's the advantage of a slotted or drilled rotor?
The basic idea is to vent gas away and renew the pad surface to prevent pad glazing which could otherwise have a negative affect on performance.

What's the warranty?
90 days from the date of purchase or for 3,000 miles of use of the product, whichever occurs first

Can I turn or resurface these rotors?
Sure, you can turn or resurface these rotors as long as they are still within their minimum thickness specification, noted on the perimeter of the rotor. We don’t recommend turning rotors unless you absolutely don’t have another choice. You lose thermal capacity making them prone to "warp" again that much sooner, plus the hassle of the labor involved to remove the rotors in the first place with no guarantees of a "fix".

Are the rotors balanced?
Yes, they are balanced to ensure smooth operation and rotation

Notes:
  • Rotors should always be replaced in pairs (one left side and one right side) for maximum safety and effectiveness. Single rotor replacement is highly discouraged.

Badly grooved and noisy half way through first set of pads.

I used mediocre pads, but they shouldn't outlast the rotors. I'd heard good things about StopTech, but I don't think I'll buy their rotors again.

Good design

I like that these rotors have made an escape for the dust which is created from the brake pads.

Stopping power

They are a awesome upgrade in looks and greatly improved my stopping power. I don't like seeing the rust on brand new rotors after they get wet though. Besides that I love them

Drilled and slotted rotors

Bought stop tech drilled and slotted rotors from here. Shipping on time. Packaged great. Rotors appearance was as pictured and fit perfect. Had to do some touching up to my calipers. Driving with them I can easily tell a difference. Would happily do business again!

Excellent Value

You won't notice the effect of these rotors until you realize your brakes are not fading in long downhill heavy load drives. They cool superbly so you can reduce or quit worrying about brake fade and just drive. Trust them and relax, far less fatigue and stress from worrying about or, way worse, managing actual brake fade.

Best Rotors I've Used

These are the best rotors I've ever used. They are the cryo-treated version and are paired with, "Posi Quiet Extended Wear Brake Pads." My Malibu has ruined/warped other rotors (both factory and quality slotted). These are still performing well after 30,000 miles and there's no break pedal chatter nor noticeable fade. The stopping power is as good as factory. (2006 Chevy Malibu 2LT sedan, 3.5 V6)

Just put them on.

Have had them on a couple of days , the braking power feels good & they look nice on my daughters Suzuki SX4. Still need to get some milleage on them to see how good they come out (that's why I gave them a 4 star rating ).

I love these rotors but the only thing I wasn't pleased about is the ruse that accumulates after it rains. That's why I give it 4 stars.

Perfect fit, well-packaged, excellent performance.

I found these to be well manufactured, just as described and lightly greased for good shelf life. Removing the grease with some Brakleen always recommended. I also appreciated the handy labeling for which was the Left-side rotor and which was the Right-side.

Great Rotors!

Replaced the OEM rotors on my 2013 LR4. These rotors work better and last longer than stock. I definitely recommend.
