I needed to replace my pads. I had bought my car in November & they were squeaking, not stopping. I researched the best pads to get & am extremely happy with these. They are quiet and stop on point. Some of my tools had disappeared from the garage, so I took it to a local shop, and they commented on how good these are & what a piece the ACDelco's they pulled off were. Literally, Dude came up to me & started the convo with ."So what do you know about Hawk Pads."

The Hawk HPS Brake Pads I installed went in to the vehical perfectly, fitting like stock & have a very nice feel to them when braking. Very important, as this is my mothers car. I will use these again.

I am a pizza driver and I do a lot of street driving. I ahve been buying premium break pads for a long time, since I believe this is an important caveat for safe driving. In the past I have been buying Akebono Ceramic break pads, because of good reviews and less dust on my aluminum rims. However Hawk HPS Brake Pads surpassed my expectations. With very little breaking force (maybe 1/2 of the force necessary for Akebono pads) they do the excellent breaking job. The dust might be a little more but I feel more secure with Hawk HPS Brake Pads. The only negative comment I have is that these pads do not come with the installation hardware - caliper shims. I reused the old shims which CAME with Akebono pads. Thanks for reading.
