the pads have more bite, better performance, & better feel than stock (worn-out) pads by far. if my 2005 subaru legacy GT wagon had more powerful braking system, maybe these pads would produce even more stopping power, who knows. the subaru's brakes aren't the greatest but these pads (with new rotors) are a huge improvement.

Slowly Braking them in.. Using them w/ DBA T4000 rotors. So far they stop great. Install was fairly simple. Plan to on tracking a little and for future use these on the autobahn in Germany.

I bought the hps brake pads and combined them with the gold DBA rotors which came out to be a nice combination. I bout the two together because of other reviews on this site and decided to see if it was true and in fact it is. The 2 creates a nice stopping power much better than the stock brakes I had on my 2005 suburu legacy gt limited. Can't wait to save some money and buy the rear hps brake pads and rear DBA rotors to make it truly complete.

I replaced the stock pads with these. They have a better pedal feel and stop better than the stock pads. I tracked the car (9 turn road course) one time with these pads and had no brake fade at all, even slowing down from over 100mph multiple times. They perform well in the rain and snow and have not caused the rotors warp. I don't track the car too often and feel these are the best pads for the street and an occasional track day. The cost is within $10 of replacing them with the OEM pads from Subaru and they perform much better. I will use these pads for the duration of ownership on my car.

unlike oem pads, hawk pads grip well, no noise, and barely anydust. with the new rotors installed and pads installed my breaking has increased by 20% or more. great upgrade without much installation or complications. would highly recommend them to anyone wanting more stopping power and worth the price.
