Just got them on so haven't driven with them yet but the are twice as thick as our old ones. They appear to be great quality. Put them on the back. Now I want them for the front of my Ford F350 Superduty.

I updated by brake system a number of years ago with slotted rotors, and Hawk SD brake pads. A really good combo for towing my '44 enclosed auto trailer. Hawk brake pads are the only pads I use.

Better than stock

These pads seem to work well, but I am still breaking them in. When installing I had to grind some metal off to make sure they would slide freely on the carrier. Wish they came with more grease for the price you pay. They immediately firmed up the peddle and braking. Overall not a bad product, but a bit pricey.

New brakes are now just installed with no issues. They seem very smooth and the break in process was relatively simple. Still making sure to take it easy on them for another week of super defensive driving.

Good pads but still very new.

Just put these in te rear of my 03 f350. Put about 50 miles on so far and no issues. Break in procedure was clearly explained and easy to do. No noise or dust but still very early in the life of the pads. Overall have noticeably better stopping power and believe these will be great pads.

Appear to be very high quality. The pads fit well and are quiet. The stopping power is much better then my OEM pad ever were.

The original excursion came with the same rotors/calipers/pads as the same year F-250s and F-350s. There must be a weight difference of 3000 lbs or so. Stock equipment led to warped rotors in as little as 10000 miles. These pads are the highly talked about, forum'ed and reviewed replacement for those stock pads. They hold up to every review. They are quiet, and they work.....with out warping rotors. Brake dust is minimal with the Superduty Pads, but expect to see it. Overall a great pad, i highly recommend these.

Hawk pads are 100% better than the stock pads that I removed from the truck.
