Description:

You can keep telling yourself that this has never happened before, but deep down, we both know that’s not the case. As we age, it’s natural for performance to decline. Sometimes, that brake pedal won’t pop back up as quickly as we remember. Luckily for you and your ride, StopTech has released their Stainless Steel Brake Line Kit. Now you can improve your soggy brake pedal without needing to visit the mechanic and having an awkward talk.

The factory equipped your car, truck, or SUV with rubber brake lines. Now, these work fine, especially when new. But as the years go on and the miles are racked up, these lines start to swell and break down. As a result, your braking performance begins to suffer. Once you start to notice your brake pedal is feeling less firm, and you can no longer smoothly come to a stop, it’s probably time that you look into upgrading your brake lines.

Now, you may be wondering what makes these a worthy upgrade. StopTech starts with a Teflon inner line which will resist expansion and will not degrade from the brake fluid. The Teflon layer is then covered with braided stainless steel which provides support and shape while protecting against impacts and abrasions. But StopTech even goes one step further by covering the stainless steel with a clear abrasion resistant pvc cover, which further protects against chafing.

This may sound like overkill, but the difference will be noticeable the first time you use your brakes. Your pedal will feel more responsive. That weird pulsating feeling will be gone too; instead you’ll be enjoying smooth, consistent brake pressure. If your brakes are subject to heavy duty, whether it be from towing a trailer or enjoying a track day, you’ll appreciate this upgrade even more. These lines are DOT approved and are completely street legal. StopTech tests all lines to an incredible 4500 psi; that’s about 4x more than your daily driver will ever produce, so you can feel confident about your upgrade. To make installation simple, all required mounting hardware, including crush washers (where applicable) are included. These kits are vehicle specific and are designed to be a completely bolt-on upgrade. StopTech backs their stainless steel brake lines with a 90-day warranty. And when you purchase from AutoAnything, you’ll enjoy fast shipping. Need some assistance? Our friendly, helpful customer service team is available 7 days a week to answer any questions you may have.

Will I have to bleed my brakes after changing these?
