"This is my second set of EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads and they have been amazing. I replaced my rotors a couple of years ago with EBC slotted and dimpled rotors and after careful consideration, I paired my new rotors up with a complete set of EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads and I haven't been dissappointed since. The additional stopping power has been very impressive and I love the way these pads bite into the rotors each and everytime. These pads have proven to be very reliable for me. They do generate quite a bit of brake dust but I would take the extra stopping power and reliability any day. Being a spirited driver, having dependable stopping power is a must. This is my second set of EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads and I would recommend you buy a set and try them out for yourself." —Phuong N from Union City, CA bought an EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads for a 2005 Acura TL.
"Hawk HPS pads are the best I've ever used. I thought other brake pads like the EBC Green Stuff would be just as good, since it won some awards. I also purchased the EBCs to save about $20 because these Hawk pads are over 100 dollars, but it wasn't worth it. EBCs had a lot of brake squeal, even with grease, and after the burn in.
The Hawk pads required a very light burn in, absolutely no squeaks and the performance is amazing. The brakes respond quickly, and there is much more modulation with these. I've had Hawk pads on my 350Z before and I was equally impressed at the increase in performance over the stock pads.
If you are looking to upgrade stopping power, this is the quickest and cheapest way without needing to get cross-drilled rotors or a big brake kit." —Yoon Hwan J from Alexandria, VA bought a Hawk HPS Brake Pads for a 2005 Acura TL.
"These brake pads are awsome compare to the ceramic brake pads you buy at pep boys or autozone but there fricking noisy. I called the green stuff tech support and they told me that the pads need to get worned out and to drive the truck for at least 500 miles, then the squeking noisy sound will go away and if the squeking nois dose'nt go away to call them back and they will exchange or do something to fix the problem." —Jesus F from San Diego, CA bought an EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads for a 2005 Acura TL.
