The only installation issue I had was getting the pads onto the new slides for some reason. They seemed too tight. Once I was able to get them where they needed to be, they were perfectly fine. I also wasn't sure what the best way to install the new slide boots is. I ended up tearing them. I did end up replacing all of the calipers and it became a non-issue. Overall the brakes work fantastic. I'm not sure heat was an issue on the stock set(when they were good), but confidence is now higher.
