Once past the breaking period these pads are very good . They stop much quicker than a factory pad with very little noise . I haven't noticed anymore brake dust than the factory pads produced . It seems to be pretty good on the track as well as the street

Solid Upgrade over OEM Pads

Reviewed By Austin I (HURRICANE, UT) Reviewed for a 2012 Chevy Silverado —2/15/2019 12:55 PM

My Silverado only has Front Disc Brakes. I swapped out the OEM parts (with a bit of life left) for for Hawk Ceramic pads and Centric Premium Discs. Once the pads had a chance to get to know the discs I could feel an improvement with braking performance. There is a bit more initial "bite" with the Hawk pads. My previous stopping habits now having me stop short of where I expect the truck to stop. With about 100 miles of in-town driving, I've yet to see brake dust.

1st time bleeding brakes

Reviewed By Paul L (Hamden, CT) Reviewed for a 2003 Chevy Silverado —10/23/2018 9:23 AM

Simple setup. Make sure to pick the right nozzle for putting on brake bleeder for secure fit. I couldn't use it to push fluid from bleeder at caliper thru the line to reservoir. Worked ok for me.
