"After 156k miles on my original pads I thought I would try something different. Alittle research later, I decided to give EBC a try. Only have had them on a few weeks now so don't know about long term. But so far so good. Pads were alittle touchy at first, but seem to have broken in nicely. Alot of brake dust on the rims, but I would guess that goes with the break in period. Time will tell." —Darrell O from Long Beach, CA bought an EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads for a 2001 Chevy Silverado.
"They seem to stop better than OEM, but haven't been on my truck long enough to comment on durability." —Jesse S from Woodstock, IL bought a Brembo Sport Slotted Rotors for a 2001 Chevy Silverado.
"After eating through several rotor and shoe setups on my 2001 Silverado Z-71, I decided to go for a moderate upgrade by installing this kit. Brake performance is definitely better than where it was, but not too incredibly more potent than the usual OEM replacements I have had in the past. THe real test will be over time; My hope for these better-quality rotors is that they will not warp the way the OEM GM stuff is infamous for. I have yet to 'bed' the pads in, and I suspect they will grab better once that is done. Overall, a good value & so far, so good..." —Jesse C from Chagrin Falls, OH bought a SSBC Short Stop Slotted Rotor Kit for a 2001 Chevy Silverado.
"perfect fit for my silverado, much better brake reaction,no fade.easy installation." —Richard A from Wilmington, DE bought a Russell Brake Lines for a 2001 Chevy Silverado, 1500, light-duty, 4WD.

"This is the second set of Hawk brake pads I have purchased and installed. The first set was on my 2001 Ford Taurus and they work well except for a light squeal that goes away as the car stops. The second set were heavy duty truck pads for a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 pickup. The owner's only comments after the installation were that they stopped fine but he heard a humming noise during initial braking. The brakes quieted down as the truck stopped. I think in both cases it is too early to tell. Stopping power and uniformity of stopping action versus pedal pressure was excellent in both cases." —Michael M from Dearborn, MI bought a Hawk HP Superduty Brake Pads for a 2001 Chevy Silverado.
"Looks like very nice quality stuff. Have not had a chance to put them in yet." —Kevin P from Coon Rapids, MN bought a StopTech SportStop Slotted Brake Rotors for a 2001 Chevy Silverado.

"Very nice kit. Everything fit perfectly. They seem to stop the car alot better now." —Kevin P from Coon Rapids, MN bought a SSBC Short Stop Slotted Rotor Kit for a 2001 Chevy Silverado.
"I really wanted a better brake than you get at Advanced Autoparts. I took the pads back I bought there because they wouldnt fit without taking a grinder to them. I heard of AutoAnything and I really liked the deal you had on this system. They really work better than conventional brakes and rotors. The only negative was FedEx delivered the box all banged up and didnt provide tracking. UPS would be a better carrier choice." —David M from East Vandergrift, PA bought a Power Stop Truck & Tow Brake Kit for a 2001 Chevy Silverado, 2500, 6.0L V8, automatic.
