"These pads are really worth the money, fast shipping, great price and a great product. I had the break pads changed on my daughters car in about 45 minutes. I will buy them again for my truck when it needs new break pads." —Steven B from Libby, MT bought a Posi Quiet Ceramic Brake Pads for a 2003 Chevy Silverado, 3.3L V6.

"THESE ROTORS ARE MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED. ARRIVED ON TIME AS ALWAYS. AUTO ANYTHING IS THE BEST !!" —Brett B from Proctor, MN bought a Power Stop Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.

"I have a 03 Chevy Silverado, and just installed them on my truck. I only have about 100 miles on them so far and still going through the break in phase, but what a difference from stock brakes so far. Now I don't have to press so hard on the brake peddle to come to a stop, even with bigger rims. Luckly I didn't have to make any hard stops yet, but they still have shortened my stops big time. Not only they are a great look for a customized truck or car, but they also function great. So if you are looking for a good brake kit at a lower price (Without getting a full caliper kit) I would suggest this one." —Scott G from Roseville, MI bought a SSBC Short Stop Slotted Rotor Kit for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.

"Unit arrived quickly. No problems with the installation and instructions were clear and easy to understand. Tried the brake controller out today and it works as it should. Still have some adjusting to do to get it just like I want. Really like to digital display. It's nice to see where you are on the adjustment by looking at the numbers on the display. Very nice feature!" —David W from Athens, AL bought a CURT Discovery Brake Controller for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.

"So far so good. I have only had them on 2 days, but they seem to be working well." —Randy S from Blue Springs, MO bought an EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.

"I purchased the EBC Sport Rotors with the green pads and to date seem to perform well in all situations and especially well during hard braking. A great improvement over stock. The brakes are still producing a fair amount of brake dust but may subside after the pads are broke in. The only time they make noise is when the brake dust has built up and once washed the noise goes away. Overall, I am satisfied and plan on changing my pickup's brakes to the same rotor and the yellow pad because I tow a fair amount." —Laurie S from Belle Fourche, SD bought an EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.

"I suppose it is early days yet, I will have to see if the situation improves. I purchased these and paired them up with new Baer Decelera Rotors. So far, having completed the bedding in process as instructed, I am experiencing loud squeling when I apply soft pressure. In hard braking conditions I would rate these as excelent but I am dissapointed at the squeeling. Maybe it will improve. There is another thing that pisses me off, the anti-squeel pad they get you to stick to the viewed side of the brake pad is black and it detracts from the color of the pad." —Gary C from Citrus Springs, FL bought an EBC Yellow Stuff Brake Pads for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.

"I installed the hawk superduty pads with power stop cross drilled and sloted rotors on all four corners of my truck. While the overall breaking was improved over stock, Where you will notice these breaks are when they get hot from heavy breaking. All I can say is AWSOME!! My truck is lifted with 35" tires and I haul a 26' enclosed race car hauler, and after this upgrade it made my think how much safer and at ease I feel towing this combo down the road." —Matt K from Charlotte, MI bought a Hawk HP Superduty Brake Pads for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.

"I could instantly feel the difference in stopping power just from installing the front rotors. I could only install the front rotors because I accidentally ordered the wrong set. Make sure when you are checking the pistons on your rotors you check the REAR calipers, all front calipers on chevy silverados 99-03 are dual pistons however if you have disks your rear calipers can be single or dual pistons." —Joseph H from Fountain, CO bought a SSBC Big Rotor Kit for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.

Power Stop Performance Brake Calipers

Great Calipers

I did a back brake job on my 03 Silverado at 160,000 miles. One of the old calipers was causing the brakes to drag. I replaced both calipers with the Power Stop Performance Calipers. Great product, and fixed my problem! View more reviews...

Power Stop Autospecialty Brake Kits

Good price, good value, a big job

The front brakes were easy to do on my 2003 Silverado 3500 dually and was pleased with the product. The problem happened when I got to the rear breaks. It is a big job with a dually since you have to press out the wheel studs to replace the rotor. But that is the nature of the beast. The rear pads had to be filed down to fit the caliper because they were off enough to bind. This added 30 minutes to the job, other than that they seem to be good. View more reviews...

Motorsports for the Masses: Getting Started in RallyCross

CASCADE, MONTANA It’s a blustery day in Montana east of the Continental Divide. But that’s normal. All winter the wind runs hard down the Rocky Mountains and across the wide unbroken plains, scouring the landscape. Where the wind stops I don’t know – there’s not much between here and the Atlantic – but where I’m […] The post Motorsports for the Masses: Getting Started in RallyCross appeared first on AutoAnything Resource Center.
