Description:

Scrub the speed off your street machine or race car with the iron grip provided by Disc Brakes Australia Rotors. These performance discs deliver a serious upgrade to any braking system on the road or the track. Featuring T3 4000 Series Rotors, T2 Slotted Rotors, Gold Series Rotors and more, they maintain constant friction for a cleaner disc surface and less fade.

Thermo-Graphic heat paint is marked on the edge of each rotor. The colors change to signify temperature thresholds, making quick work of monitoring rotor temps. Rotors also feature DBA's Thermo Stability Profiling which handles the higher temperatures that result from spirited driving.

To keep your rotors cooler than a can of Fosters, DBA uses a "Kangaroo Paw" vent design. The vents work like an air impeller to quickly extract the hot air. It also produces a rotor that's 20% more efficient than traditionally vented discs. And best of all, DBA backs your rotors with a 12-month, 12,000-mile warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Whats the advantage of two piece rotor?
Two piece rotors are far lighter than their single cast counterparts. They also allow better heat contraction of the rotor ring, and in some cases better air flow through the rotor for better heat dissipation.

What's the advantage of a slotted rotor?
The basic idea is to vent gas away and renew the pad surface to prevent pad glazing which could otherwise have a negative affect on performance.

What's the warranty?
1 year or 12,000 miles whichever comes first.

Can I turn or resurface these rotors?
Sure, you can turn or resurface these rotors as long as they are still within their minimum thickness specification, noted on the perimeter of the rotor. We don’t recommend turning rotors unless you absolutely don’t have another choice. You lose thermal capacity making them prone to "warp" again that much sooner, plus the hassle of the labor involved to remove the rotors in the first place with no guarantees of a "fix".

Are the rotors balanced?
Yes, they are balanced to ensure smooth operation and rotation

Notes:
  • Kangaroo Paw venting is not available on all part numbers.
  • Rotors should always be replaced in pairs (front or back). Replacing a single rotor leads to uneven pad wear, steering pull, and ultimately, costly damage. Single rotor replacement is highly discouraged.
Moss Warranty Act Statement

Better than oem

Great brakes ,noticeably better braking ,both feel and stopping distance.bda pads don't need to be seated in and are much less expensive than hawk or ebc.

Looking fabulous & improved pedal feel

The rotors looked so good and felt substantial out of the boxes. Beautifully made. The anti rust painted surfaces were a nice touch. I reused my fairly new TRD pads with these front rotors and the braking improvement on my 3-ton SUV was apparent. I like them so much that I have since ordered the rear DBA rotors and new EBC Extra Duty pads for both front and rear. Recommended rotors.

Best You can get

Pads now bite into the rotors. These are amazing. Whole need feel for a 6500 pound Land Cruiser. These are what you want. Fronts involve repacking the front bearings.

So far, they've been great. Temperature stripes were useful on track day.

I like the rotors

The rotors are fine, but service is not. I bought them in response to a PayPal deal offering $45.00 off on a qualifying purchase. My purchase met the requirements, but when I mentioned the $45.00 PayPal discount they said to assure return-ability I couldn't check out using their normal site, but they had to send me a link to a different checkout page. That page would not give me the $45.00. I think I have been hustled. Needless to say I am NOT happy with Auto Anything.

Great Rotor

I've used these rotors on several vehicles over the years. The highest quality bar none. A little pricey but worth the money.

Best rotor for a 93-98 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Front brakes on my Jeep take a beating, should have been 13" instead of 12". But these DBA's don't warp and last through 3 sets of pads!

The DBA 4000 and 5000 series rotors give us a great alternative from the expensive two piece rotors. They are durable and effective.

Highly recommended

These rotors were recommended by Hawk brake pads to use with their pads. I strongly suggest that you follow the break in procedure. No problem stopping a heavy A6 Avant wagon. No fade.

Work Great

I have had allot of trouble with the rotors on my 2002 Jeep WJ. The (upgraded) factory rotors would warp and cause a terrible vibration when braking. No problems with the new rotors at all....excellent quality and a vast improvement over the stock rotors. Well worth the extra cost and Autoanything provided excellent service and quick shipping.

These are great in appearance and in performance. I pad paired these up with EBC green and immediately feel the improvement with stopping power. Would definitely use DBA again.

No more brake throb

Though I'm not on the track any longer, I'm still tough on brakes. And since I'm not in a German car these days, a few hard stops and the wimpy rotors on my Japanese car turn to wavy gravy. I finally had enough of having these under sized, crap metal rotors turned and bought some good old fashioned Australian steel. I mated these with some Hawk ceramic pads and bedded them. Now, no matter what I through at them, they stay straight and true, albeit, glazed as a Krispy Kreme.

Did not meet expectations

Put these as replacements for my stock rotors for my 335i and they're just not up to the task. You would think that these would be an upgrade to stock, but they simply don't stop as well. They get the job done and the look is good, but I was expecting more.

DBA4000 review

I bought these rotors because they were highly suggested for a street/track rotor. The appereance of the rotor is very aggressive and gives the car a better stance. Anxious to try these on the track!

Rotors for my 2008 Mini Cooper

I purchased a set of these rotors with some Hawk HPS brake pads for my 2008 Mini Cooper. The rotors were packaged beautifully and had a very quality appearance. Compared to pricing of other performance rotors, these were significantly less expensive and I can't imagine the other performing better than these. There is no noise and they look great through my wheels.

DBA 4000 rotors for my '00 honda civic SI

I recently installed new DBA 4000 rotors with matching Hawk ceramic brake pads on my 2000 Honda Civic Si. Installation was very easy ( yeah . . i did it myself). brake bite is excellent. i used to feel vibrations on my steering wheel when i step on the brakes when driving fast, probably old rotors are warped already. now, vibrations are gone. and slotted rotors look very nice too. My next project will be to change the rear brake rotors, and i will definitely put DBA rotors there.
