"I installed these on my wife's Explorer. Almost 2 years later, and they are still going strong. 40,000 Miles plus!! Would recommend these to anyone. TimZ" —Timothy Z from Fallston, MD bought a Hawk LTS Brake Pads for a 2005 Ford Explorer.

"Only had them for 500 miles but so far they have been superior to the OEM by far." —Timothy Z from Fallston, MD bought a StopTech SportStop Slotted Brake Rotors for a 2005 Ford Explorer.

"Being retired I took my car to my mechanic and he suggested brakes and rotors. To my shock his price was $600 dollars with new rotors, not American made. I'm 71 years old and had very little trouble with the installation. Although only on a couple of weeks far superior to factory brakes." —Roger S from Long Beach, CA bought a Power Stop Brake Kit for a 2005 Ford Explorer, 4-door.

"The Hawk Performance Brake Pads are replacing another brand of Ceramic Pads that did not live up to their claims as being "the best". I have used Ceramic Pads for many years and this is my first experience with "Hawk". The first set that I used was a "name brand" and lasted for over 80,000 miles on my Ford Ranger. I replaced with a national auto parts chain brand that lasted for less than 20,000 miles. I put a set on my new Ford Explorer Sport Track at the same time as the Ranger and they lasted 16,000 and were more than 75% gone. I read several reviews about Hawk and feel that they will do the job. They are really quiet and smooth." —Gene S from Augusta, GA bought a Hawk Performance Ceramic Brake Pads for a 2005 Ford Explorer, Sport Trac.

These things are quiet and stop quicker than the stock pads and rotors plus look a hell of alot better. Once my pads go out on my expedition I will definately go with this setup if available." —Nicholas H from Bellaire, TX bought an EBC Sport Rotors for a 2005 Ford Explorer.

EBC Premium Rotors

Good Item

The rotor at the top of the packed box had scratches like it was thrown across a floor. Other than that, they are a lot better than what I had on there. We'll see how they break in. View more reviews...

EBC USR Slotted Rotors

Slight Upgrade, heavy rotors

Well they work nice so far, had them on for about two weeks. Bed them in on the highway until they smoked up. No warped rotors, no rusting yet, everything seems fine. I did not notice that much of an improvement though, I was expecting more from them. They do have more initial bite when you press the pedal but that's about it, im sure they will get better once I put about 1K on them along with the Green stuff brake pads. The black anti rust coating comes off almost instantly. View more reviews...

Motorsports for the Masses: Getting Started in RallyCross

CASCADE, MONTANA It’s a blustery day in Montana east of the Continental Divide. But that’s normal. All winter the wind runs hard down the Rocky Mountains and across the wide unbroken plains, scouring the landscape. Where the wind stops I don’t know – there’s not much between here and the Atlantic – but where I’m […] The post Motorsports for the Masses: Getting Started in RallyCross appeared first on AutoAnything Resource Center.
