"I purchased my first set of Hawk pads for my 2006 Chevy Silverado and instantly found that the vehicle stopped better. When my Mustang Convertible needed brakes it was a no brainer. The latest set stops the vehicle quicker then the old pads. I intend to purchase another set for my wife's car when it needs new brakes." —Joseph P from Bennington, VT bought a Hawk HPS Brake Pads for a 2002 Ford Mustang.

"Replaced my old stock Ford rotors with the Powerslot Rotors. Rotors look great with the black center behind my saleen rims. Gives a sport/racing look. A very high quality product. Will never replace with stock rotors again!" —Michael L from Westminster, CA bought a StopTech SportStop Slotted Brake Rotors for a 2002 Ford Mustang.

"The Russell Brake lines really improved the brake feel on my Mustang GT. The braided stainless steel lines are always a good upgrade when replacing old, deteriorating rubber hoses. Installation was pretty easy, but there was one minor issue: they came with aluminum sealing washers, that didn't seal, so be prepared to potentially buy copper sealing washers separate." —Andrew O from Plainfield, IL bought a Russell Brake Lines for a 2002 Ford Mustang.

"no brake dust I love them sqweeked loud for a day then after that not a peep" —Daniel O from Joliet, IL bought an EBC Red Stuff Brake Pads for a 2002 Ford Mustang.

"Bought ceramics for front, new rotors front and rear, and then extended wear pads (NOT ceramic) for rear (DOH !!) for 2002 Stang. Had to use extended wear as I had trashed old pads trying to push cylinder on rear caliper in (needs a special tool that turns cylinders as they go back in, great another $60, still cheaper than a shop and no morons touching my ride). Pads on front quiet, but still in break-in period so no massive breaking improvement noticed yet, but the car stops and thats always a plus. Online reviews say that takes 400-500 miles to properly break-in and see a difference, but so far so good." —Patrick G from San Antonio, TX bought a Posi Quiet Ceramic Brake Pads for a 2002 Ford Mustang, Non-Cobra.

"I just installed the Baer Decela rotors on all four wheels, and the difference is amazing. When I coupled them with the Hawk HPS brake pads it absolutley blew away any brake system I've had in the past. I am a very aggressive driver and these rotors handle the agression with ease. I Would recommend them to anyone who asked. Overall just a great product." —Ryan B from North Kingstown, RI bought a Baer Decela Sport Rotors for a 2002 Ford Mustang, GT.

"2002 Mustang Coupe. I don't get much sound out of them as in some reviews, but they clearly warn you in the enclosed documentation. Firm braking when tied with "Red Stuff" ceramic pads. One nice thing about the black coating revealed that I had a problem with one caliper hanging up, quickly identified the problem and replaced the caliper bracket - all appears to be 'good'." —John D from Virginia Beach, VA bought an EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors for a 2002 Ford Mustang.

"I have had several different brake packages including some high end kits costing around 3k. By far these brakes stop in less distance with no fade. Best brakes I ever had. I will be a new lifetime buyer of these brakes." —Jalani W from Lancaster, CA bought a Power Stop Brake Kit for a 2002 Ford Mustang, GT.

EBC Redstuff

Thought I'd try out the redstuff pads for my '02 Mustang GT w/ Cobra brake kit. They are working very well. They needed minimal break in and perform nicely on my street (sometimes hard) driven car. View more reviews...

Motorsports for the Masses: Getting Started in RallyCross

CASCADE, MONTANA It’s a blustery day in Montana east of the Continental Divide. But that’s normal. All winter the wind runs hard down the Rocky Mountains and across the wide unbroken plains, scouring the landscape. Where the wind stops I don’t know – there’s not much between here and the Atlantic – but where I’m […] The post Motorsports for the Masses: Getting Started in RallyCross appeared first on AutoAnything Resource Center.
