"great stopping,a little nose at first but not for long.Easy insulation, and fast shipping. thanks again Glenn." —Glenn R H from Sedro-woolley, WA bought an EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads for a 2007 GMC Sierra, Classic, 1500, light-duty.

"I ordered powerlsot rotors and Hawk ceramic pads to go on my 07 GMC Sierra with 50K miles. My rotors had grooves in them and would vibrate under heavy braking. After bedding the pads in they feel great. I actually don't know if the slots on the rotors help in breaking or even dissipate heat better than a stand rotor but at least they look cool. Hopefully this rotor and pad combo will last longer than the OEM setup." —Ryan B from Justin, TX bought a StopTech SportStop Slotted Brake Rotors for a 2007 GMC Sierra.

"Went on easy, once on all the brake shake ended and now have a smooth stop.... much better than those factory rotors!! you will not be sorry!" —Kevin A from Raeford, NC bought an EBC Sport Rotors for a 2007 GMC Sierra.

"I put Hawk pads on my rear brakes after using a different brand for replacing the front and was not happy with the results. The Hawk pads were a perfect fit and work better then the GM OEM pads, I can not say that about the front pads. I am going to by Hawk pads now for the front and use Hawk from now on!" —Bryce A from Rancho Palos Verdes, CA bought a Hawk HP Superduty Brake Pads for a 2007 GMC Sierra, 1500.

Phoenix Systems V-12 Reverse Brake Bleeder Kit

Must have tool for any brake/clutch fluid job

I have used this kit once on my 2005 Sierra. I was able to flush the old fluid out with a vacuum process and then bleed all four brakes quite easily and quickly. If you were going to do a lot of jobs or use it every day I would recommend getting the pneumatic one, or your hand will be cursing you, but for my home use this was perfect. The instructions were helpful and quite thorough, but sometimes a little confusing. It came with a full DVD instructional video showing the multiple ways the kit can be configured as well as an instructional booklet. However this kit is slightly different than the one in the instructions. The bottle adapter is a universal one rather than the multiple sizes of bottle caps in the old style kit. This universal bottle adapter works fine, but it was a little confusing at first to figure out exactly how to connect it. First I suctioned out the old fluid from the master cylinder reservoir using the vacuum configuration. Next I flushed the system by connecting the bleeder in the vacuum configuration to each of the brake bleeders valves in succession, and pumped it until the fluid coming out was clear. This worked quite well, but don't be surprised when you don't get a full steady flow of fluid in the pump, it just doesn't gush out of the bleeder so the tube of the Phoenix V-12 won't be completely full of fluid going into the catch can. You do have to keep an eye on your master cylinder reservoir to make sure it doesn't get too low. Next I checked the master cylinder and removed a little bit of fluid so I wouldn't over-fill it during the reverse bleeding. Finally I bled the air from the system by attaching the Phoenix V-12 to each of the brake bleeder valves once more, but this time in the forward pump configuration. I had the back side of the pump pulling fresh fluid from a new can of brake fluid using the universal bottle adapter. I pumped about 4 pumps or so, removed the hose from the valve, let it "burp" and then closed the valve. This was actually pretty messy because not al View more reviews...

CURT Echo Brake Controller

Skepticle

I was a little skeptical on how well it would work, but it literally took 2 mins to hook up (mostly because I didn't know the PIN number was under the cover) and away I went. If I can find one thing wrong, and I'm stretching, it's that once your vehicle shuts off, you have to turn the controller back on from your phone when you start it. So that takes some getting used to. Other that that, awesome View more reviews...

Motorsports for the Masses: Getting Started in RallyCross

CASCADE, MONTANA It’s a blustery day in Montana east of the Continental Divide. But that’s normal. All winter the wind runs hard down the Rocky Mountains and across the wide unbroken plains, scouring the landscape. Where the wind stops I don’t know – there’s not much between here and the Atlantic – but where I’m […] The post Motorsports for the Masses: Getting Started in RallyCross appeared first on AutoAnything Resource Center.
